No, your answer is bullshit. I have years of experience developing PHP and have no fuckign clue what you're trying to explain.

Edit: A smart answer, if he was asking, would be to have an XHR request which refreshes every 2 seconds.

Example:

XHR Func

setTimeout(2000, XHR Func)

That wouldn't even require a page reload and would therefore be less resource intensive.
