Hey is anyone getting these 'ping spikes' or experienced it before? Basically every few seconds or so I'll lose connection or lag and then it'll go back to normal and then this repeats. It's not just happening in Minecraft as well, It's also happening in Rocket League and other online games. If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know.. I also don't have access to the router login page so that kinda sucks because my dad seriously doesn't care tbh.

I recommend closing programs that you aren't using whIle running whatever game that you are playing, get closer to your wifi box if possible, deticate more ram I suppose - more so directed at minecraft as it reaches a point where it peaks and drops down a few mb only to replace them shortly afterwards. Additionally, you can try restarting your computer/router. Lastly, and this tends to be my case majority of the time when experiencing ping lag, ensure there aren't a ton of other things connected to and using your internet.

I'm right next to my router, wired up. What do you mean by add more RAM? What's RAM got to do with my ping? I've also restarted everything multiple times.[DOUBLEPOST=1465040666][/DOUBLEPOST]
