Hi there,

Our team is now officially looking to hire a team that goes above and beyond their responsibilities within our organization. Our company has grown to a point where support is something we are going to have to take to the next level.

Our management obligations are currently being slowed down by responding to customer inquiries.

Support Staff Requirements include:

- age of at least 16+ (Non negotiable)
- Extensive knowledge in Minecraft + Website Hosting Industry
- Fluent in English
- Proper Grammar
- Provide Valid Identification (passport, drivers license)
- Team Player
- Very Active Online Individual (Online whenever I need you during shift hours)
- Respectful
- Extensive knowledge in what PixelHost offers it's customers
- Ability to be available 5 - 7 days a week, for minimum of 6 hours per day.
- Ability to use our LiveChat system
- Ability to use our billing ticketing area
- Ability to use our discord to assist customers

What will you receive:

We all know that this position will allow you to sit in your pajamas and simply be online on an app for when a message comes in, so pay is realistic to the job being done. We are completely fine with pay per hour online, weekly, monthly, etc. Simply tell us what your specialties are, and we will make sure you are properly compensated. Whether or not you prefer monetary compensation or free services, we've got a spot for you!

General Manager Requirements:

- Age of at least 17+
- Extensive knowledge in Minecraft + Website Hosting Industry
- Fluent in English
- Proper Grammar
- Provide Valid Identification (passport, drivers license)
- Team Player
- Very Active Online Individual (Online whenever I need you during shift hours)
- Respectful
- Extensive knowledge in what PixelHost offers it's customers
- Ability to be available 7 days a week whenever a customer has an inquiry concerning your
responsibilities.
- Ability to use our LiveChat system
- Ability to use our billing ticketing area
- Ability to use our discord to assist customers
- In charge of marketing efforts
- In charge of managing all support staff
- Sign a contract binding to our employment terms
- Ability to adapt to new technologies

This is a growth based position, as we grow, so do you! Thus the harder you work, the more you will be rewarded.

Notable Skills:
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, PHP, JS
- Extensive knowledge in WHMCS + Pterodactyl
- Good graphic design sense
- Knowledgeable in Photoshop

We take this position very seriously and expect to be paying anywhere between $80CAD - $300CAD/month to start out with this position based on your skill set. We are giving this a try, and want individuals who believe in our brand, and want to take things to the next level with us!

Great for someone who is looking for an additional income on the side with the opportunity to build a business and get their feet wet in the industry without investing any of their own money.

With time in our organization and proving yourself, you will have access to funds, as well as marketing campaigns where you will be responsible for the growth of the company.

We have worked long and hard over the years to get to this point and are ready to get started!

How do I apply?

Simply send us a small paragraph trying to capture our attention with a short amount of text, followed by a pdf version of your resume. I don't want to know where you went to elementary school, or where you play soccer on the resume haha. You may also reach out via our discord (if you're a problem solver you will be able to find the link!). If you aren't serious or aren't able to provide valid identification, do not bother applying

Kind Regards,
Niko B

Hello, I am sorry. A lot of people will not be interested in this position with the fact of having to show a driver's license or other proof of identification. I don't find that information very useful. Anyone who uses this post please make sure to be safe. If this is a scam more information could be taken from your person.

I understand that showing a driver's license could be a huge security risk. But I personally wouldn't hire a support member without verifying their idententy.

What would be the need to verify someones identity?

So that if any case of harm comes to our customers due to your actions we have a means of providing legal documents to your residence. Had a bad result come of being too trusting in late February. We learnt from our mistakes and are only working with people that we trust and are able to know exactly who you are.

No, if you blatantly delete a client's files for malicious intent, we won't dox you. We will take legal action. We take our security and policies very seriously.
Do you have some sort of business registration information you are willing to send?

Ok, makes sense as a 'general manager', quite some responsibilities.
Ability to be available 7 days a week whenever a customer has an inquiry
Ok, also makes sense.

Hmm wow. Quite some demands for a single person. Usually these tasks are not for a general manager but I get it, you're looking for skilled people that can run an entire company for you without having to pay anyone else.

We take this position very seriously and expect to be paying anywhere between $80CAD - $300CAD/month
Okay, this is where things don't match up. So let's say we're aiming at $300/month (which is unlikely that you will offer that to anyone here), the 'general manager' in question would be making an average of $10/day. Where I live, I could make an entire month worth of your 'wages' by working 4 days in mcdonald's.

What you're doing is simply illegal as you're underpaying your people.

$300 CAD is equivalent to ~$230 USD, much lower than what you'd think of it to be

Okay but can we really be treating is as such though? Not every country is like Belgium, minimum wage in Belgium is 1.6K and as soon as we switch to the US that drops down to 1.1k. Regardless, this isn't really a job, rather a hobby, and there is no way a general manager of a hosting project puts in even a week of actual labor into this.

However, OP, I do agree, your requirements are excessively high for the amount of money you'd be willing to spend on such a position.

But in the end, is any of this legal, I sure as hell doubt it.
I strongly believe the OP is yet to file any type of tax report or pay himself as an employee. So all of this really seems like a hobby project and not like a company, could be wrong though, but I doubt it.

But to call this in particular illegal, ehh then being staff for a Minecraft server is illegal, being staff on mcm is illegal and many more "virtual" positions. I feel like if an individual is having trouble being accepted elsewhere due to a lack of experience and is able to get started here, that'd be a win-win for both parties, so it's all really subjective and I don't see the reasoning for ruining this thread to the degree it has been ruined.

Hope y'all have a good day though regardless.

This is minecraft hosting, where hosting is sold for anywhere between $1 - $2/month. Being able to work from home in your pajamas to grow with our business is something a lot of people would be happy to do. It's just simply what we have budgeted for this position at the moment. We aren't going to overextend ourself on a position we are already doing just because we want to save time to work on bigger things for the company.

You will find a ton of kids selling websites for $5 on here, doesn't mean it's a great thing, but everyone knows it can be done. Just like the hosting scene, everyone expects pennies for hosting now because of this exact thing. If I wanted to pay someone to do professional level work that I personally emit, I wouldn't be hiring a 16 year old who can sit in his pajamas and build a company without spending a penny :)[DOUBLEPOST=1605175430][/DOUBLEPOST]

I would also like to add that this is by no means a "full time" employment position. This is purely a "contracting" position. When I say 6 hours a day this doesn't mean sit at your computer screen awaiting a message from me. It just means make sure you're phone is online so that in the case a message comes in you're available.

In terms of a "hobby company" we are more than a legit corporation. I honestly know there are kids out there willing to do this type of stuff for free. When I was coming up in the minecraft scene when I was young I would have loved to do this type of work. $300/month for a kid who gets to work from home in his/her pajamas, coming up with new ways to grow a company and at the end of the day grow their own income as the company grows.

i'm 99% sure there are a ton of kids willing to do this position as a lot of them have probably already tried to start their own hosting company and just don't have the funds to keep it going. This is doing just that but from day 1 your profiting.

Tax return or no legit company, I'll be waiting in my dm's.
EDIT: Let me clarify, I was on-board with pretty much all you said, but I don't buy your last point, a "more than legit corporation" don't bullshit me, I've been around.
