Overview

Today I'm here trying to sell my New pixelmon Server. I will be keeping the name of the server private to try and not scare away players but ill try to provide as much information without revealing the name. Why I'm selling the server

My exams are slowly creeping up around the corner I have around 1 and a half months until my first GCSE exam, so I don't have any time to run the server as I've been spending most of my time revising for mocks and so on. I'm unable to carry on doing weekly events and making new updates for the server so I decided to sell it.

Server Information

The server was opened on the 23rd of January so around 1 and a half months ago and has ranked up a steady playerbase and is also on the first page on pixelmon servers.

Playerbase:

The server hits around 30-40 players every day but averages around 20 When we used to advertise the server before the re-set we managed to hit 120 players and I believe that we would be able to do the same if we had the funds.

In 1 and a half months we have managed to make 2348$/2203Euro in donations.
January- 1100 euro
February - 800 euro
March - 300 euro (so far)

Extra Information:
The server is running pixelmon 5.0.1 and has a modpack with around 2.6k downloads and 15k runs The modpack only has minimap, optifine and pixelmon so people can still join without using the modpack. The server is fully configured with a large collection with custom plugins and full custom builds.

Well i think that if a good owner takes the server it can make 800$ back in less then 2 months BUT thats only if u know how to manage a server. Pixelmon Is quite good also idk why it being pixelmon would bring its value down?

Yeah and we have around 600euro locked in paypal as it has only lets us use the money 21 days after a donation as it was a new paypal or something like that so we were unable to use that money and we used the other money mainly for development like custom plugins which totaled to around 300euro(more or less). We did ofcourse also give a fair bit to ourselves in the first month which we realized was a mistake when the money got locked and we had to pay for the host with our own money.

You're over pricing your server. Its clearly dying.

I would honestly set the bin at $1200.

Not sure how its clearly dying considering we still have the same playerbase we've had before and we've managed to make 430$ in donation in 12 days and that's without us making any sales. Maybe ur not looking at the same Player Graph I'm looking at but even from the graph you can see the playerbase is almost the same as last week we even had more players on sunday this week.

It's a good sale, but a bad state for a server. I agree with Vice, at its current state your bin is too high.

The server is at more than a perfect state, in my opinion, hitting 35 people every single day near the after school hours plus it's managed to make 550$ in less than half of a month (this month) so I'm not sure why I would set a bin (which again is the most that I would won't for the server) at 1.2k when it is projected to possibly make around 900-1000$ this month. Please remember that a BIN is a Buy it now price not what I'm expecting to get from the server just the MOST I want to get from the server so I personally believe that 2.5k is a fair amount as if the server makes the lowest it's made since opening and less than projected this month so 800$ and we calculate it using the method most people use (Income for 3 months) Which in this case would be 2.4k.
