PlanetSMP 1.18+ server recruiting motivated and active staff!



PlanetSMP is a server combining two gamemodes that players love and aiming to give the best possible experience! Our combined Earth & LifeSteal SMP experience is unique with custom features, such as vehicles and added hearts. For every kill you get, you get an extra heart like the LifeSteal SMP and you are allowed a maximum of fifty hearts. There will be a live map where you can see everything. One can check that out at map.planetsmp.net

Available positions and duties:
These are not paid positions.​

Helper:

• Answering basic player questions.
• Playing with players, conversing with them.
• Welcoming new players to the server.
• Directing players with issues beyond your ability to the Discord and tickets.
• Pass on reported bugs and suggestions or direct players on how to forward these to higher staff.
• Contact higher staff with issues you’re unable to handle.
• Moderating in game and Discord to ensure all rules are being followed and players are happy.

Moderator:

• All helper duties and then some additional ones.
• Resolve disputes players may have. Arguments and such.
• Mentoring new staff to teach them how things are done.
• Be a friendly presence on the server to help players feel welcome and at peace.
• May work with admins to set up events for the server.
• Catching and punishing hackers

Senior Moderator:

• Mentoring lower staff.
• Handling all lower staff level duties plus some additional ones.

Administrator:

• A resume will be needed to apply for this position.
• You must be willing to remain active and stay at the server.
• More to be discussed at time of interview.

Requirements:

• Must be 14 or older, no exceptions
• Must be friendly and motivated to help work with others to ensure a bright future for the server
• Must be able to contribute 10+ hours to the server a week. More is always better.
• Must be able to work with others as a team or on your own to handle things.
• Must be able to get along and not cause drama.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Maturity is a must have and patience to handle a lot of people at once as need be.
• Cannot have a poor history with any server regarding abuse of permissions or player abuse.. (If you got demoted unfairly, then explain that.)
• Must be active within the staff chat on Discord to relay things to owners and other staff.
• If you wish to apply for Moderator position or above, you must have staffing and survival server experience.
• Must be able to use a microphone to be able to talk to players in support rooms.
• Basic Discord knowledge.
• A basic understanding of lifesteal.
