alright so, my first map had a few bugs, and i put a poll up to ask what we should do. Most people said close map and work on map2.

Now thing is if I do that im scared of people charging back on me.
I have my TOS, but will that protect me fully?

All lanks are lifetime and global. My paypal is verified with id and stuff so thats not an issue

Assuming these are all through paypal, all you would need to do in repose to a dispute is state that the person agreed the TOS and send the TOS over to paypal. Sometimes I prefer calling paypal and telling them this.

I - All packages purchased are final as all sold items are virtual goods and not redeemable or useable in the real world. II - Attempts to bypass or break our refund/chargeback policy via filing chargeback case with your credit card company will result in a permanent ban from all of SlamMC’s servers. These actions could also cause a serious police investigation.







III - We are not responsible for any received items purchased by you or a third party that has lost the purchased item due to any of the following in-game experiences including but not limited to:



● A server or playerdata reset



● A server punishment, Ex. Permanent Ban, Mute, etc.



● Getting killed or dying by any player(s), mob(s) or by any Natural Consequences such as dying of hunger, fall damage, etc.







IV - We have full access and control of perks, features, elements and contents of the purchasable goods and packages in our store as well as in-game. This most likely will rarely happen, however, it is within the realm of possibility that a certain feature or element of a rank or any other content in the virtual store will be edited, refined to work differently, be fixed or removed, if chosen necessary by SlamMC’s administration team.







V - If any of the server(s) or gamemode(s) on SlamMC are to ever shut down, refunds will not be available.







VI - You must be above the legal age of 18 or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to make any purchases or payments to our online store.







VII - Before purchasing any of our online packages, you must enter in the provided slots for personal information about yourself or of the credit card and/or money provider (Name, address, etc.). By accepting these terms, you automatically agree that this information accurate, correct and up to date.







VIII - We do not take any liability for our online goods being sold by third party users.







IX - No information obtained by you from our online store or through any other third party should make any guarantee, warranty, conditions or any other agreement of any kind, except for those exclusively shown in these terms.

Make sure to send paypal the users ip. It will help them verify that it is indeed the user if they claim that they did not make the purchase.

I made it so when purchasing they have to put adress and stuff, so I will add that all into the chargeback

most times if a charge back will occur you simply need to contact PayPal over the phone and almost as much say it is buyers remorse. however if a user opens a claim through their bank, do NOT fight it unless you are 100% sure u will win, as most banks charge a $20 admin fee if you loose. also be aware that technically if the purchases arn't EULA friendly PayPal may in some cases be required to kind of like auto let them win for legal reasons as T&Cs of a larger company can in some cases come first. but other than that your best option is as previously mentioned by another user, keep your players updated, and tell them whats happening all throughout the process and don't let the down time drag on and on. hope this helps a little.

most of the time users don't realise that they can charge back through their bank so you should if you get any only get PayPal ones that are easy to dispute, but most people that donate on mc servers wont chargeback in general as it can stop them from using BuyCraft in the future on bigger servers.[DOUBLEPOST=1534013818][/DOUBLEPOST]

i have always been under the influence it is only if it goes to a fully fledged dispute, as in claim stage you have the option just to pay straight away and not dispute, but if you go into a dispute then they charge it. as that's when they have to put in the man hours for the claim.

could be the case then as haven't personally been put into that position yet. and don't hope to be in the future, either way, i know if you loose u get charged $20 and i believe that if you win wither PayPal or the bank pays the $20
