Player Tags (Ranked Tags)

Thanks to TimeToGo for popping this idea in my head. In no way am I taking from his suggestion, just adding my own!

Alright, my whole idea would specifically involve only Premiums + Supremes (or just Supremes, depends on which you feel would get it).

Anyways, it has to deal with rank ranks seen

I think it would be really cool if you could have tags you could add (only one, interchangeable though) and would show what your primary purpose is on MCM.

Builder
Java Developer
Web Developer
Web Designer
OG Seller
Sys Admin
Setup Seller
Configer
etc

It would be a new feature that would encourage people to purchase ranks.

(Bonus! You could add purchasable ones for everyone just for fun, something like tag, lol)​

Anyone would be able to call himself 'a developer' by paying a few bucks when he might not be one at all.

And your point is?
This, I'm guessing, won't be a official tag thing where if you have the developer tag you're automatically a verified developer or something.

What would the point be then? I can see people charging for colored names since they are purely cosmetic and don't have a meaning or function at all. However with these tags, they have a meaning.

Since after all this was MY idea, I said that instead of paying you get chosen by the staff and the people of the community and the ranks are just broad eg. Designer can be Web Designer, Graphic Designer,Hand drawn etc

There should be an application form, where they can apply using it in a certain section. Then if the community vote, which might be broadcasted at the top of the page(Home Page) then the staff will have to decided. Of course I say there should only be 3 designers, 3 developers etc and These people could have privileges or something.

I think we should be able to create our own tags but nothing related to services, maybe something like rekt, god, legend, etc.
I don't know, just shooting.

This also puts more workload on us. We already have hundreds of reports to deal with.

So you want to limit the amount? That would definitely make it a popularity contest.

But that may be misinterpreted by new people by making your own ranks. That wouldn't be good in my eyes

No like a list of fixed ranks. And you can choose from them when purchasing a rank.
