Players bored on Prison?

Hey! I used to own a prison server myself.
We used to do things like pvp events, giveaways, and we also did HnS. We got a builder from our team to make a nice HnS map. There would be a warp to it when the event would start and the players would hide. Then, after so long, the staff team would go out and find the players. If they got found, they would be sent to spawn.

Prison is indeed a hard gamemode. I remember years ago it was fun mining and doing nothing for hours, and today its straight boring. The mines were setup so that you had to cross a pvp area in order to get to a different mine or area of the cell. This made it way more fun.
Anyway try being involved with the server and do events like the user above said. It would be cool if you got minigame(s) implemented.
An easy example is ChatReaction, everything is automatic.

Hello! I used to moderate one of the best prison servers of minecraft, and on that server we had something called prison cells, where you could decorate it, add chest shops, etc. Every ward had a different type of cells. If you have more questions about this pm me, I would love to help!
We have a chatreaction and we did do events when we had good amounts of players; we also do have Prison cells.

It's boring now just like factions because most servers are the same. I used to love Prison when it first started.
Hey! I see you want to grow big into a Prison/Kit PvP server. If it was an Op Prison server. I would do things such as custom plugins to the mines like custom enchants that would make your server big. The KitPvP server maybe have some spells and that?
