Players on the Pre-Release ( 1-2 month Release )

Hello, Got couple question's and need advice!

NOTE: I have condition called Dyslexia. Please excuse my grammar and spelling issues on the thread.

My Questions...
1) Would it be acceptable to have players in the discord server while its being built as long as they are being entertained and know that the network is coming?

2) Should I get Developers and Builders first or Staff? And can I get Developers and Builders and can I pay them in advance?

1) Would it be acceptable to have players in the discord server while its being built as long as they are being entertained and know that the network is coming? Yes. Add some cool bots and things to entertain them, maybe a few giveaways for ranks on the server, grow a sustainable playerbase before you even start up!

2) Should I get Developers and Builders first or Staff? And can I get Developers and Builders and can I pay them in advance?
I have only managed a couple MC servers, but in my experience you should hire Devs and Builders at the same time as staff with no problem, but don't worry about recruiting helpers, imo I wouldn't whitelist them on the server anyways, and 2-4 active and dedicated moderators are perfectly capable of managing a Discord with 100-3k members.
I don't have anything to say about paying in advance, I have never dealt with that.
