So what is it for me? it automatically put it there when i wanted to put a message to a player in blue

import org.bukkit.ChatColor;[DOUBLEPOST=1510622295][/DOUBLEPOST] I wrote this up. Everything should work if you just replace the text in your plugin.yml with this. Make sure to copy and paste.

I don't mean to come off as hostile. But he should learn the underlying language before attempting to make plugins.

Spigot is practical use. You can learn practical elements of the language greater through the application of it then reading or watching someone do it.

Yes, I can see where you're coming from. But if you learn the language first then you will eliminate basic mistakes. (Not referring to this, but other concepts in spigot). I'm also not suggesting that you are fluent. Just somewhat familiar.

Learning Bukkit along the way is better than learning java by itself, yeah it tells him how to code but what if all he wants to make are plugins, he's gonna have a lot of unnecessary knowledge in his head when he could just be using the methods needed for making bukkit plugins.
