Plugin that allows players to stay in game during a server reboot.

Hi,

I was looking for a plugin that does this and I couldn't find any so I was wondering would like to make one. Here's a thread on a bukkit thread where more knowledgeable people talk about it. I've seen it work on one server but haven't seen it since. https://bukkit.org/threads/restart-server-without-kicking-users.47254/

I'd ideally like to try to and keep this unpaid because I'd like to after it's construction release it to further improve the server "game". However, if can't find someone who is willing to do it for free I will pay.

I don't think this is possbile without having a bungeecord setup.
Mainly because whenever the server is closed/restarted all the connections to clients are disconnected.
However, with a bungee there is a fallback server so the players can remain "in-game" and that server can restart.
