so i wanna learn how to code plugins, but i literally no fucking nothing about it.

if someone can tell me what language people usually use to code plugins that would be appreciated, as well as a few other tips for starters

I mean if you just want to learn it to make plugins I'm not so sure if it will be worth while to learn the language. Java is the language.

If your doing Minecraft plugins Java or Kotlin. Kotlin is a JVM language like javascript with Java aspects to it and easier than Java but I don't really like it but you may. Kotlin is meh but thats my opinion, they're both pretty good languages overall. If you need to just google tutorials on Spigot as it will help you a lot or even buy a Spigot course as that'll teach you (probably) both basic java and spigot api knowledge.

I started off with skript which helped me learn the basics of programming

I then went on and then learnt Java, a few things that helped were YouTube, GitHub and Stephen King’s course

I became pretty intermediate then started teaching myself and just looking at docs to learn new things
