I understand that you can only edit a PM for 1 minute after it has been sent.
but really that just doesnt really feel like enough time. EVERYTIME I try editing it, its been like 2-3 minutes and its so annoying editing it again.
So I believe that you should be able to edit PM's 5 minutes after they have been sent.
EDIT: I just saw an open thread like this. Sorry.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

It is so people can't change what they say (Example: Scamming).

I think it's ok as it is. You only really need to edit it for really spelling mistakes. Unless just make another Pm saying what you want to say.

The original reason it was reduced from 3 minutes to 1 minute was to prevent people changing what they said after, say, someone agreed to something, and stuff like that.

Then what's the point, if they can see it before edit? just to correct your spelling? Is it that big a deal?
not only is it editing.
If I want to add something it would be much better to just edit it in.
But its not like its really bad, its just annoying really,

Not worth it imo. If you were to PM me with something, I read it, close the PM, you edit it after I read it & closed it, I wouldn't get a notification. You're better off PM'ing the user again with the change.

And adding a history and stuff is just too much work and not worth it.

yeahhhh, it's not going to cost you to type a quick message saying the change. I don't feel it really needs to be implemented.
