I wrote this poem with a friend in mind.
Be who you want to be. Be who you want to be. You can be whatever you want. You can be whatever you want, you can:
Be Smart. Go and Make the World a better place.
Be Funny. Go make someone's day a little better.
Be Creative. Go and take pictures the way you never have.
Be Pretty. You know that you are.
Be Excellent. Go and exceed the expectations. Fight for the top.
Be Kind. Go and help someone else. Make their day.
Be Crafty. Go and make your art, and make it awesome.
Be Academic. Go and achieve what you want, and get into that art school.
Be Sweet. Go be kind to the world like you know you are.
You are those things. You could be lots of things, you might be lots of things like, devoted, thoughtful, bright, eager, orderly, silly, powerful.
You need to remember to be who YOU want to be... not the world, not your parents, not your grandma, not your friends, not anyone. It is your choice and you can make yourself who you want to be.
Be True to yourself.
