Hello all! For the past couple days I've been developing a portfolio for myself and was wondering if anyone could give me opinions. I already know that there are optimizations that are needed to be done, I'm looking for design feedback.
Looks good, but it looks like a Bootstrap template. Some of the things you should work on:
1. The navigation is too close to the top and sides, make breath a bit
2. The "WILL B." needs to be bigger (about 20%) and the call to action button a bit bigger (10%-20%)
3. The paragraph in the "ABOUT" section needs to be broken up into separate paragraphs. Break the paragraph in like three pieces.
4. Make the social media buttons bigger and more separate and the about image smaller.
5. In the contact form don't put "Enter name" put just "Name". It's cleaner.
6. You don't need the "SIGNUP" and "LOGIN" button since people just come to see your portfolio and contact you preferably.
As much as I appreciate your feedback I don't really think to change the sizing of the header text and about images is really necessary, that's just my design style. I'm aware that it currently looks too generic which is the reason I'm planning on making a new site following a cleaner google material design theme. The signup and login thing is just for clients as I plan to have a panel for clients to utilise.
