Portfolio Website

I created a portfolio website for my work which can be found here. I also made a web panel that allows for uploading and managing the images on the portfolio. Now I am fully aware there are many many existing services out there but I wouldn't mind creating my own I just want to get opinions;

The site in its current state is no where near what I would do as it is heavily me themed but the backend has some of the features I would include.

The backend panel currently has the option to upload images and give the images what I have called tags:

The tags are what are used to filter the images on the home page, if this would become a service I would redesign the tags system to something else

It has image management:

And there is a user management section

I imagine I would offer a free and paid version of the site and it would be a subscription service fully hosted by myself

I would offer multiple themes that are customizable from a web panel

I want to know what you all think, is this something you would be interested in and use?

True, but it'd need to be licensed and obfuscated to prevent someone leaking it.

EDIT: Should only be for premium+ feature.

I'd just make it a fair price & alongside licensing and obfuscating I'd also make unique copies per buyer, in multiple areas of the software that way any leaks will always give away the culprit.

I can make an offline version that can be sold however my main plans are to create this into a service offering free and paid version so I can offer more features that wouldn't be possible with selling code for people to self-host. My hosting and offering as a service would still allow users to connect their domains and such

I think your portfolio site is fantastic, I just much prefer the idea of hosting things myself, I'd be happy with buying what you have now to be honest

I would much prefer as the comment above say, to self hos it. As all service's provided by me should be protected and held liable by me only, not another person

Sounds great, if I was to sell now I would just need to spend a few days cleaning it up, make it configurable, change the theme, and a few more things. I would love to do both, the resource, and the service - the latter having a lot more features of course but the former being the self-host alternative that is still pretty powerful

If where the data is being held is an issue, we would have documentation outlining the data we collect and store, everything would be stored securely following all of the best practices, and all the software we use would be kept up to date to ensure our security is the best we can possibly get

Self-hosting would be 100% be possible and my preferred way of doing what is shown above, I would also like to offer a service that would be much more advanced than a few options for portfolio offering standard features such as sub-users, multiple themes, etc, and a few more unique and powerful tools I won't disclose yet

Sounds very useful, I could see all kinds of ways to make use of it depending on what you're selling. I'm curious, what exactly does the paid version offer? Is there an option to self-host? If not, that would be desirable feature for me at least.
I'm interested to see what features get added, I'll definitely keep my eye on it!

The lesser featureful one shown in the screenshot could be self hosted but I am also interested in offering a service with much more features that couldn't be self hosted
