Hey,
Shouldn't we have a positive and get a funny rating? Because most people use the funny rating because a person's post is not is so stupid that it's funny. What if someone says something funny, and you want to rate them funny? Since the funny rating is considered a negative rating, you can't do this anymore.

This is why I propose a positive and negative funny rating.

So, if someone's post is so stupid it's funny, Rate them negative funny. If they make a funny post, you can rate them positive funny.

We might as well just have a globally negative rating...
No reason to have two funny ratings.

I believe negative ratings have been discussed in the past.
Their popularity wasn't all that impressive.

Funny is considered a negative rating already. I'm suggesting that we add a positive funny rating.

We already have a ton of ratings though, and I don't see the need to add any more on top of them. Besides - your concern is that people use funny to be sarcastic and tell people that they're silly for saying what they did. While it's nice that you'd be considering a "positive funny" for like jokes or whatever, you'd need to do it for the other commonly used sarcastic ratings, including optimistic. Besides, ratings don't mean much anyway. No one checks anyone's profile to see how many funny ratings they have, and what each and every one of those ratings received means.
