Possible Expansion of MCM!

Hello!

In lieu of all these new posts that don't necessarily relate to Minecraft anymore such as CS:GO trading, Steam trading, Bitcoin exchange, etc. I think it could be possible in the long term to expand this sites infrastructure past Minecraft.

Not sure if everyone will completely agree to me on this, its just another idea for the owner. If Minecraft does somehow die off in the near/distant future, this marketplace will then be basically extinct, so I think it would be a good idea to try and begin to transition from just Minecraft to all forms of trading and selling.

For example, you could add more forum listings for other trade deals, for example Steam, or other topics that the community would likely enjoy, and slowly bring people from those platforms here. Maybe remove the "Exclusive" domain to maybe a name that would be open to more or different kinds of trade, such as (just an idea) "WWM World Wide Market?" <-- that was kinda bad, but you probably understand what I'm trying to say.

I just think that the overall architecture of this marketplace is too good to just be exclusive to Minecraft, and should expand. I just think that in the long run, it would pay out...

Its just an idea, and my opinion, please don't trash me

A bit of other stuff is okay, like now. But too much and it will lose its soul. Pretty much everyone here has one thing in common. Minecraft, whether its building, making plugins, trading account, etc. All parts of the same thing. Which has helped people bond more and the community to build up to where it is today. If it becomes too diverse, with too many things not related to MC, it will lose that.

I've disagreed to an extent. Though the marketplace can have multiple forums selling/offering different games and other things along those lines, I don't want it to stray too far away from Minecraft. This is the go-to forum/marketplace for anything your server needs and I think if we go away from that fact the Minecraft side of the forum will die, leaving another upcoming forum to strive. It would just cause this to be an everyday general marketplace instead of the go-to-market for all things Minecraft.

Expansion of MC-Market into other areas does seem like a good idea, but I think that for the next few months my primary focus is simply ensuring that everything we have on the site is working properly and we've perfected everything minecraft-based before we try to expand, otherwise I think we might end up over-extending ourselves.

I'll deny this, but I am looking into something like this in the future. Thanks for the suggestion
