It bothers me so much that those that don't attend the event can just spend like $150-$200 and have a cape. I get that you're allowed to do it, but I just feel like it ruins the meaning behind the cape and that it's meant for those that actually do attend the event.

But for some people, its cheaper to buy the cape. Then actually go there, yes its nice to go but it also is quite expensive.

I mean yeah... but it's a lot different because I spent 2.6k to get to the event (my purpose wasn't to get the cape) but it still stinks.[DOUBLEPOST=1436536314,1436536283][/DOUBLEPOST]Although I did have an excellent time. When I was there and don't regret any of it.

See some of us Americans (Including Myself) tried to go to Minecon 2013 but couldn't because 3/4 of the tickets went to scalpers.

This year some of us Americans (Including Myself) wanted to go to the convention but could not afford to pay $2000 for a plane ticket.

I would have loved to go to Minecon. But I was not going to wait another year to get a cape.
