Posting resources under a new name but same author?

Hello, I am fairly new to Mc-Market, but I have been developing and posting plugins for a while. I have read over the rules about posting resources and one of the rules seemed to confuse me which I would very much appreciate if a staff member could clean up for me.

I am some plugins on another website in which users can download for their servers. However, on that forum, I have a different name (which has long been since outdated). My newer username (one that intend to keep) is this account that I am using. If I were to post a resource I had made with a different name, would that raise suspicion about my resource (I would like it if I didn't have to repost due to confusing)?

For instance, I have created an Anti-Bot system on another forum, under the name of "fujiboy4." I would like to post it here as well, however my name is different from my original posting elsewhere. Is this okay, or would it count as illegal resource posting? I can prove my name change if necessary. Thanks for helping out.

I know you asked for staff but I'll give you my opinion on it.

When you post a plugin on here, they will ask for proof of ownership, that will turn people away as you were using another username. IF you still have access to the old account, and you can edit the old names, you can remove it, or even create a link going to your new profile, and then a link from your profile going back to that older one.

If you did infact change your name, some people would understand, but you might get a little bit of hate because of the fact you can't prove ownership if you understand.

I don't think it would be an offence on MCM, but you might want to make it clear when you post it, so people and staff are aware of it. Also you could contact the older place and ask them to remove it or give you access to the account to change it, that would resolve your issue right?
