a lot of people are complaining about how fucked these rep purges are and there are updates coming to reputation rules so why not wait until then to deal with all these reports coming in? open disputes should keep going of course

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

they should just automatically remove it when a user gets banned if this is going to remain a rule instead of people going and reporting people in spite

my point was if they're gonna adjust rep rules for the better why not wait until then to enforce the rules
People have been wanting active staff members and I believe we now have a team where the backlog isn't bad anymore.
Moderators used to have to do feedback disputes, moderation reports and support requests. With the addition of Feedback Moderator role, Moderators are now able to focus less on disputes and more on moderation reports and support requests.

People used to complain a lot about there not being enough staff members to handle disputes, now there are and for some reason, mass reporting reputations have been going around for the past 3 weeks.

So I want to get this straight:
Sometime before the addition of the role 'Feedback Moderator', the disputes were backlogged badly. People complained about their dispute taking several weeks.

A role was introduced, 'Feedback Moderator', and the disputes have been responded to fairly quickly. 2-3 weeks ago, a number of people decided to mass report reputations.

A suggestion was made to postpone disputes for the reason "too many complaints". While yes, a lot of the reputations do seem to be violating a rule and that is the reason they are being removed, there are some people on this thread, whether it be reactions or posts, have contributed to the mass reports of reputation. I would love to know their reasoning for being in favor of disputes being postponed for the reason, "too many complaints".

I do not see any pros to postponing reputation disputes but merely a con, which is people going back to complaining about the backlog of disputes.
but ok

At the moment I'm going through a number of suggestions, and a lot of them were created regarding the reputation updates that we published and later rescinded. We now have a system where we consider some reputation to be 'legacy' and that reputation does not count toward reputation totals, and overall I feel like now a lot of people are satisfied with this system.

There were a tonne of suggestion threads created during this time, all with very valid criticism of our updates, and I believe that the reputation system we have now is even better because of that so thank you for that.

I'll move this to denied now, along with the rest of the suggestions made on this topic at this time, thank you.
