They weren't able to generate enough cash with Premium anymore, so they went for adding another rank. No different from what most servers do. However its not as easy to generate new content and new options on a delicately balanced forum like this. One wrong move can cause an explosion of hateposts. so they (unfortunately) chose to water it down. My hope is that it will be undone if/when they have some actual new options/additions for Supreme.

"delicately balanced"... lol, you do realize this is just another forum on the internet that cost under $100/m to maintain? The ad revenue alone was generating over $2000/m before Supreme rank was even added. It's an unnecessary rank. The site is in no dire need for extra cash, except to line pockets, which is fine... just don't try to justify or sugar coat it. Anyone with half a brain can see why it was added.

The rank was given out because a majority of the community agreed with my suggestion to add a new rank (this was waaaay before I was a staff member), following after he added the rank.

Lastly, I do believe that Premium Members should NOT see that ad, but I have to discuss about this with the staff team and ask. I'll keep you guys updated about this situation, (e.g if Premium/Supreme gets ("have") to see ads, they should only be able to see it in the advertisement box, but non premium/supreme members has to always see it (unless they got ad block, then of course that's out of our hand).

Uhhh, it is true. Verringer added the rank before he passed the site to Mick. How can you even say he didn't? There was a thread where it was argued it was pointless and it should be removed, and Verringer himself said it wasn't going anywhere.

He didn't because I have the logs that the Supreme rank was released before Mick became an OFFICIAL owner, they were discussing about him becoming Owner while he was a Moderator and Supreme Rank was introduced.

I said the rank was implemented before he left... as in before Verringer left. You said I was wrong. Did you misread what I said?
