Hello, MCMarket.
I am selling my Factions server named PrestigeMC. The reason I am selling it is because I wish to start youtube and a staffing career in the HCF/PotPvP scene. I have invested hundreds of dollars into this server, and will not be letting it go for cheap.

I released the server last Saturday. Within an hour, it had around 15 players, with 2 staff excluding me. This was just a beta-map, and I wanted to test it out. If I had left it on the list, it would probably get around 40 players, maybe 50. The server is currently whitelisted.

You will receive the following:
- Logo
- Server Hosting (8GB, default port, lots of addons / 28 days left).
- Website (Enjin, good theme, donation store setup)
- Discord Server
- All server files
- Premium Plugin files from the server *NO JARS*
- Trailer

The idea of the server is to combine HCF and Factions into one gamemode. We have factions based features such as F Top, 1.7 Cannoning, 1.8 PvP, Gen Buckets, Long Maps, Kits, etc. However, we have HCF based features such as: Enchant Limiters, Bonus XP with looting, Non-P2W Kits, KOTHs, etc.

The server is currently whitelisted. I released it for less than 2 hours on a beta-map.

15 players on release is completely different from 15 playerbase.

Added more info on the title to inform future views.
I'd just like to get the point across that the server can definitely sustain a player base of 20 players without any other advertising than MinecraftServerLists.

You can't simply determine a playerbase within a 2 hour time span. You had a peak of 15 players, not a 15 playerbase.

Agreed. However, with the correct ownership and a small bit of effort, it can easily have a 20+ player base without any advertising money spent.

How is that provable?

You had only fifteen players on release. How do you guarantee a 20+ playerbase without money spent on advertising?

Because I've done it before on a similar server setup. My first server, CrazyMC, got 30 players the day after release. (same advertising methods).

The server would remain on the front page of the list for at least 12 hours. We hit around 20 players most of the time, but usually, 5 or so left/joined. That is why I counted it at 15.

Again, that's just after release.

You CANNOT predict your playerbase gauging from that release number. From experience I've seen servers who get 30 on release die to 2-5 players a week or two after.

I'm aware. From my observation other servers with no advertising money, this server has done particularly well. I'm not selling a server with a player base, I am just pointing out some potential. This is about the files, art, domain, etc., not the player-base. Whether you can tell the player base is irrelevant. I am just pointing out how many players were actively playing the server at the time.

If you would like to continue this argument, please do so in PMs. Trashing my thread isn't a good thing.

I just felt like you made the playerbase a huge thing especially in your title.
