PrevailPots - Requesting Developers [Practice PvP Server]
PrevailPots is a practice pvp server that is planning on opening this summer. Due to all of our popular YouTubers, we have a 300+ player base expecting a great release.
We are looking to enhance our knockback and hit detection, open new gamemodes, and make our server an overall greater experience. We are looking to hire one Lead Java Developer. It helps if you have experience working or playing on this type of server before. It really takes a developer with experience in this game mode to properly understand some projects.
Requirements
In order to be hired, you need to have the following requirements:
- Experience with creating custom spigot forks.
- Experience with MySQL databases.
- Advanced knowledge in Java.
- Ability to use external APIs.
- Have good practice/proper name conventions.
- Understand git and know how to use Bitbucket.
- Work well in a team
- Organize the other Java developers to keep them on task
- Collaborate ideas and help other developers in Slack
- Easy to work with/good communication skills.
- Be able to communicate via Teamspeak.

Your Job
As the Lead Java Developer you will be handling most of our larger scale projects. The most important being creating and working on our custom Spigot JAR. Modifications and tweaks will need to be made very frequently. If creating custom spigot forks is not something you're very familiar with, I would say this job isn't for you. Other than that, you will be working on other large scale projects, managing the projects of our other Java developers, and even expanding our team when needed.
Payment
We discuss a price per project, then pay you out at the end of each month. Projects can be anywhere from $10 - $1000 depending on the scale of the project requested. Payments will be negotiated before the plugin has started.
You will have approximately 3 weeks after being assigned the project to complete it. If it is a small project, we may need it sooner and will let you know beforehand.
