Not sure if this is already known, but I just learned this, and I've never seen other people use it, so this might be helpful.
Instead of posting messages on your profile/status/signature saying something along the lines of "MY ONLY DISCORD IS MCBYT#2023, MY ID IS 292341971966754816, USE CHARACTERCHECKER.COM TO CONFIRM AND ALWAYS PM ONSITE", try using Discord's built-in profile link.
The format is https://discordapp.com/users/[USERID].
For example, to link to my discord profile, you would go to https://discordapp.com/users/292341971966754816.
You can find your user ID by right-clicking on your Discord name and clicking copy ID (on PC), or tapping and holding a message from yourself, then tapping profile, then tapping copy ID (on mobile).
