Hello. I Appreciate this post may get a lot of hate however this is an idea that me and my friend Nine were just thinking about. As you guys know a very reputable member imprank has exit scammed. Me and nine predicted that prank was going to exit scam and in our opinion it was quite obvious that he was going to exit scam 0 Nine told aliensushi around a month before it happened and a lot of people were effected by this exit scam. However i wouldnt say it is the peoples fault - he had 194 rep and he was "trustworthy." Multiple other people have exited scammed including Suffer (sadly i was a culprit :v) and Fraud. I feel like if a reputable member has a scam report on them they should be prioritised. I will give some examples here however there are multiple scam reports on reputable members that in my opinion should have been giving priority.

Here is the scam report on imprank made in April 2019 https://www.mc-market.org/threads/469269/page-2 I will admit it was a very hard scam report to resolve due to the fact there were 2 "convincing" arguments in this scam report towards the start however massively learning towards massis favour in the end IN MY OPINION. However throughout this scam report it was extremely spaced out taking almost 3 months to solve giving prank more time to exit scam. In my opinion one of these reasons prank exit scammed was due to the fact he knew he was not going to win that scam report. In my opinion he should have been pushed to fully refund massi. Also i have noticed new scam reports are taken on only when some of the ones which are being solved right now have been solved. However i feel like once again if a reputable member has a scam report on them i feel like that should get answered as soon as possible.

I really feel like this should happen. Before anyone complains this does not mean scam reports on other MCM users should not be dealt with at the same speed however in my opinion i feel like a scam report on a reputable user which does not look good on there end should be given top priority. Suffer (I know he wasn't that reputable) managed to exit scam apparently around 5k im not sure how much prank exited but it will be over 5k. This is a massive effect for the community especially for the new people on this community who just want to buy a really nice account.

I know the second idea has been suggested a ton of times however i really feel like it would be beneficial for especially new users on MCM. New users on MCM will probably not research the account and research the user before buying an account as thoroughly as someone who has had a decent amount of time on mcmarket. I know for sure when i was new to mcmarket i didn't check if the person had a scam report on them i just assumed if they were a high reputation they were trustworthy. I really feel like it should be clear on there profile if they have a scam report on them. There could be another section when you click on there profile which says "Scam reports" and it only shows active scam reports on the user and not the ones where they have been closed. I really feel like it will reduce the chances of new people in particular getting scammed as i see more and more new people posting scam reports.

In my opinion these are 2 must have ideas I know i might get some hate for the prioritising certain scam reports idea however this can always be developed and in my opinion it COULD reduce the chance of someone exit scamming for a higher amount. This may not stop exit scamming in general but it will decrease the amount exit scammed. Thanks for reading

If there’s an issue with scam report approval times, and there is, then the solution is to resolve the approval times for all scam reports. This means training and hiring more staff members into the position.

That's been a frequent suggestion for a while, but it seems as if nothing's actually being done about it, which is probably why everyone's giving these alternate suggestions to attempt to fix it in other ways instead.

As a buyer, it is your responsibility to do some research about whatever you are buying and the person you are buying from. Secondly, there should be no reason to give a faster response time to higher reputation members when lower reputation users could do the same thing. I'm sure members who have been waiting for a few days will be a bit angry to find out someone has "cut" in line in terms of reports being checked. This suggestion creates favoritism in the market and allows there to be discrepancy when staff members decide who is reputable, and who is not.

Two suggestions that I believe would allow members to be more notified when someone may be potentially scamming are hiring more staff members, or including an alert on the user's profile such as Landon1 or xx has shown above. Staff members were hired to allow scam reports to go faster, but after a while, the staff team gets burnt out of the constant flow of reports. The problem with looking for more scam resolvers is finding people with no bias, which is easier said than done. I'd be happy if they added one of the alerts that members have shown above, and I think that it is something Mick would be more willing to add rather than a priority for scam reports.
An alert would be fine im just thinking of an alternative suggestion because for some reason alerts still arent added and it is in my opinion a must have feature

No user on MC-Market should ever be given top priority based on their reputation, for anything.

If there’s an issue with scam report approval times, and there is, then the solution is to resolve the approval times for all scam reports. This means training and hiring more staff members into the position.

I am entirely against this suggestion.
Additionally, since the time this suggestion was made we have grown our team of scam resolvers and have far more redundancy, making it so that we are not going to have issues occur again that happened a year or two ago with ridiculous wait times.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
