So basically create a plugin and sell it to you for a lot less than what you could get if you just put it up on the platforms? Also, $1,000 isn't enough.

This has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. People have obligations outside freelance work they may do for you. Saying that you want to deduct there payment if things come up in there life has to be a joke. Developers are people, not robots.

Not to mention, this project alone could easily take upwards of a month to complete, even with full-focus which makes an even bigger chance of stuff coming into play.

It will take couple weeks / months to a developer btw, so most likely will not get it asap tho. Also, have you noticed that would most likely pay a big amount before work right?
