What is the normal size for a prison mine?

It honestly depends on what server you are making them for. If it's for a server with a high player count, you would need a large mine for each rank or if it's a new server, a small mine. There is no specific required size, just do what you feel is right. If you have no clue on the server's player count, I would just go with what Ivian said.
