Just my thoughts,

I've been on BasicPVP before, and joined their server. It's (in my opinion) setup pretty badly. We're not looking for the amount of custom plugins, we are looking how they are setup. The builds are not great either. If I was in need of this, I'd bin the max of 200$.

You got most of the players since BasicPvP has been promising and OP Prison server, and the people got on the server ASAP, since it was new.
Hence the same thing donation wise.

MineBlast alone would not have made anything close to the 1.2k USD goal. This server does not meet BasicPvP's standards.
