Private Message Notifications

Hello,
Unsure, if I am the only one but for quite some time now. I have been getting private messages but not getting notified and I think it is very random. Unsure, why because I get 20+ that do but suddenly there is this random one I don't get notified about.

Is there a way to fix this?

If you've kept your tab(s) active on any device logged in on MCM with the conversation, you won't get notified because of the live updates in conversations. Otherwise I can't replicate that, I always get notifications for new & replied conversations.

If you want to turn live conversations off go to User Menu -> Preferences, and you should see this when you scroll down (https://sevr.org/i/2d0b0b4c-13d8-4faa-ae0d-56c508d2314c.png).

No, thats would have happened because I have never opened the covnversation. Like I got one today and was by look that I clicked show all cknversations and saw I hadn't read it.

If you have multiple tabs open, it's possible that a notification might not come through on every page.

With nobody else having this issue and it not being replicable, I'll move this to the bug reports archive. I believe it must have been an issue with keeping the tab open, but if you are able to work out what the bug is please make another report.
