I know my reply will get deleted because of his hate towards me. But I don't suggest working with Affixes, as much as he may be staff here on mc-market and may have a decent reputation with people, he is not one I would partner with. When he was with Prime MC, they purchased a banner from me, and I was working with Alex, and Affixes was mad that I wasn't going to listen to him as I don't trust his judgement. After offering full edits, he claims that I scammed and bans me from mc-market for scamming although I never scammed. Turns out he left Prime MC due to the fact he wasn't allowed to join in on Alex's project (OPBlocks), and then after "quiting" posted a document about Alex full of biased POV/lying about things he's done.
If you want to work with him, then just let it be known that if you kick him out or exclude him in any way he may get aggressive.

(This is nothing against him, just my viewpoints on his way of business)

I don't think you can throw out statements like that without sharing people the full story. You were hired for a banner (almost 5 months ago) and failed to complete it in time. Alex was away for vacation and I was given full permission to take over the request. You failed to work with me, delivered a crappy product and failed to offer any sort of refund what so ever. Even then, you offered us "changes", but the changes that we wanted to have applied were ones that you couldn't do (as you said). For those who would like to read the full story, I suggest you click the spoiler below.

Warning: This is a VERY long post. Scroll down to the bottom for an "our point"/TL;DR version.

On the 8th of July, PrimeMC paid Andrew (OwningProds) 120$ to make a banner for our server. The initial conversation may be found below:

Code:
(Note that Andrew and Alex were quite close friends so obviously this isn't the most professional way to talk to each other)

Alex - 2015-07-07 11:33:43 PM: can I order a new banner
Andrew - 2015-07-07 11:34:12 PM: Yeah
Alex - 2015-07-07 11:34:21 PM: Are you open atm?
Andrew - 2015-07-07 11:34:22 PM: By chance could you get me in contact with Crainer?
Andrew - 2015-07-07 11:34:27 PM: I get home tomorrow
Alex - 2015-07-07 11:34:28 PM: Exclusivity
Alex - 2015-07-07 11:34:36 PM: He doesn't do other server deals sadly
Alex - 2015-07-07 11:34:39 PM: Sorry
Andrew - 2015-07-07 11:34:53 PM: do you know someone who would do one
Andrew - 2015-07-07 11:35:01 PM: I need one decent sized but not too big

As you are able to see, everything went quite smoothly. PrimeMC has ordered many banners from Andrew in the past, and there has never been a problem with these. I’d say we are a recurring client. We paid for the banner, and were promised that it would be done in the “next few days”. In case we wanted it on a specific date, we would have to pay for a “rush fee” (??). Ridiculous, but moving on, Andrew continuously inquired about starting up a network and Alex’s (my partner) opinion on what he was trying to do with it… Alex and him could be seen as friends though.

Andrew requested some more details, on what should be put on the banner. These were then provided, after which he (again) started to talk about his network. He promised to have the banner done by the next day.

Code:
Andrew - 2015-07-09 1:14:05 AM: Need to know everything to include in banner
Andrew - 2015-07-09 1:14:07 AM: details
Andrew - 2015-07-09 1:14:10 AM: or same stuff?
Andrew - 2015-07-09 1:14:28 AM: FACTIONS PRISON SKYBLOCK KITPVP
Alex - 2015-07-09 8:12:22 AM: SkyBlock
Alex - 2015-07-09 8:12:27 AM: Prison
Alex - 2015-07-09 8:12:38 AM: [OP] Factions
Alex - 2015-07-09 8:12:40 AM: Creative
Alex - 2015-07-09 8:12:43 AM: KitPVP
Alex - 2015-07-09 8:12:52 AM: SkyWars
Alex - 2015-07-09 8:15:21 AM: There we go
Andrew - 2015-07-09 2:24:55 PM: yo\
Alex - 2015-07-09 2:25:02 PM: ???
Andrew - 2015-07-09 2:25:10 PM: how many dedis you run prime off

Day 2: We asked for a banner update. Told us Mineslam’s banner was completed, and that ours would be done by the same day. We never got a hold of him anymore that day.

Code:
Alex - 2015-07-10 1:16:10 PM: Banner update?
Andrew - 2015-07-10 1:18:34 PM: did mineslam's last night
Andrew - 2015-07-10 1:18:37 PM: should be good for today
Alex - 2015-07-10 1:19:05 PM: ok

Day 3: We asked for another update. Andrew said he “Would do it when he could”.

Code:
Alex - 2015-07-11 10:17:21 AM: so..?
Andrew - 2015-07-11 1:32:12 PM: I will do it when I can

Day 4: We asked him for yet another update. He said he’d be home tomorrow (Weird, since he stated that he was came back from being “away” 4 days prior to that).

Code:
Alex - 2015-07-12 11:02:25 AM: On 7/10/2015, at 1:18 PM, Andrew wrote: > should be good for today
Alex - 2015-07-12 11:02:29 AM: Any update...?
Andrew - 2015-07-12 4:05:22 PM: I be home tomorrow and I do it then
Alex - 2015-07-12 4:25:37 PM: Okay..

Day 5: We asked for yet another update. The banner is now 3 days late from the initial day that he promised. Andrew said he’d have it done by that night, and then started asking for YouTuber advice again.

Code:
Alex - 2015-07-13 9:50:30 AM: hello?
Alex - 2015-07-13 10:48:48 PM | Edited 10:48:49 PM: hi
Andrew - 2015-07-13 10:53:27 PM: Next week. Jk I have it tonight
Andrew - 2015-07-13 10:53:31 PM: Heading home in a few
Alex - 2015-07-13 10:56:51 PM: OK
Andrew - 2015-07-13 11:00:47 PM: I need one thing from you
Alex - 2015-07-13 11:02:35 PM: what

Day 6: No response whatsoever, and the banner still wasn’t completed. Were were ignored for 4 days.

Code:
Alex - 2015-07-14 8:37:42 AM: On 7/13/2015, at 11:57 PM, Alex wrote: > finish the banner pls btw

Day 10: Asked for an update (We are now 8 days late). Told us he had been busy but would get to it. It it now the 18th of July, close to when Alex would be leaving for vacation. A group conversation had been made on this date, as I took over Alex’s work during the time he was gone. From here, there was no update for another 4 days.

Code:
Alex - 2015-07-18 12:01:13 PM: Hello?
Alex - 2015-07-18 12:01:17 PM: Please refund me or make the banner.

Alex - 2015-07-18 2:55:28 PM: Where is it

[18/07/15 18:01:15] (AWAY) Alex: It's very overdue

Day 14: I asked for (yet another) update. Andrew tried to manipulate, thinking I knew nothing about the banner and told me he had sent it on “Friday” (5 days ago). From here on there was, again, no response for a full 12 days.

Code:
[22/07/15 10:36:44] Jesse (Affixes): Any update?
[22/07/15 22:08:13] Jesse (Affixes): Hello?
[22/07/15 22:33:37] Andrew: I said it will be done by friday? I don't know if it sent
[22/07/15 22:34:46] Jesse (Affixes): Nope, didn’t get anything
[22/07/15 22:34:49] Jesse (Affixes): But alright, keep me updated

Day 26: We are now 24 days late. That’s over 3 weeks. Andrew told me that he “was going to do it over vacation”, but he didn’t have the server details which Alex already PMed him 24 days ago. He said he didn’t have them on (I suppose) his laptop or phone. Not only is this most likely bullshit, he also should’ve contacted me if he needed the details during the 2 weeks of radio silence. There was still no ETA and he did not make any promises.

Code:
[03/08/15 23:33:27] Jesse (Affixes): It's been like... 2 weeks?
[03/08/15 23:34:40] Jesse (Affixes): Would appreciate an update at this point
[03/08/15 23:34:53] Andrew: I don't have the banner details.
[03/08/15 23:35:01] Jesse (Affixes): You should've asked for them
[03/08/15 23:35:05] Andrew: I was going to do over vacation, but didn't have with me.
[03/08/15 23:35:19] Andrew: if you could get those I will do it asap.
[03/08/15 23:35:39] Jesse (Affixes): Alex PMed them to you, actually
[03/08/15 23:35:47] Andrew: I know I have them
[03/08/15 23:35:53] Andrew: but not with me
[03/08/15 23:35:59] Andrew: I need to copy paste or something
[03/08/15 23:36:02] Andrew: him to

Day 28: Andrew contacted me by himself (First time in 28 days if it wasn’t about help for his new network) and had the banner made. We were such “good clients” that he made it “worth over the price payed”. Though even after waiting for 28 days, he tried to ask for an extra "tip" because of that (Or rather, hinting to it). I'll give him 2/10 for business tricks.

Code:
[04/08/15 06:47:31] Andrew: This message has been removed.
[04/08/15 10:28:56] Andrew: .
[04/08/15 12:38:57] Andrew: Jesse
[04/08/15 12:57:19] Jesse (Affixes): Hey
[04/08/15 12:57:24] Jesse (Affixes): What's up?
[04/08/15 12:58:29] Andrew: alright, so I made a banner, and it's worth over the price payed, not going to require you guys to pay anymore, but if you guys feel I did well on it then you can tip if you wish, but don't have to ofcourse.
[04/08/15 12:58:45] Andrew: I am just doing that out of courtesy to good clients.
[04/08/15 12:58:56] Andrew: alright? (heart) :D
[04/08/15 13:03:54] Andrew: I be up for 20 mins, so if you could msg me sooner rather than later.
[04/08/15 13:04:28] Jesse (Affixes): Alright, cool
[04/08/15 13:04:42] Andrew: http://i.imgur.com/mSDSOrh.gif

I told him I didn’t like it and he kept trying to convince me how professional and unique it looked. He wanted to wait another 10 DAYS for Alex to get back, because he wanted his opinion on it. I tried to make it clear to him that I was replacing his “job” until he came back, but that’s something he didn’t feel like hearing.

Code:
[04/08/15 13:05:29] Jesse (Affixes): To be really honest here. Not a fan of the design
[04/08/15 13:05:35] Andrew: -.-
[04/08/15 13:06:12] Jesse (Affixes): I don't really see any effects, etc. either
[04/08/15 13:07:25] Andrew: It's more of a professional look. This is going to help you guys. Changing your look is what helps you get more players. He changed his banner like 3-4 times already, he needs a new style for this one, and this can fit all the gamemodes also.
[04/08/15 13:07:59] Jesse (Affixes): The text on the images is barely readable so I don't see how that's going to help
[04/08/15 13:08:15] Jesse (Affixes): Would really prefer just a normal banner without the images in it
[04/08/15 13:08:18] Andrew: When does Alex get back?

... FULL GROUP CONVO CHAT LOG: http://chatformat.com/KMbn7kvr/

Andrew kept repeating how he is a 100% sure “the banner would work”, even though I tried to explain to him that doesn’t matter if the client doesn’t agree. Furthermore, he just didn’t want to hear my opinion at all and was almost forcing me to wait until Alex was back.

Chat logs below explain more about this situation:

Code:
[04/08/15 13:13:08] Jesse (Affixes): What's the soonest you can do?
[04/08/15 13:14:13] Andrew: Jesse, I just replace the banner with inspect element and it pops out so much... Can I show you that please.
[04/08/15 13:15:06] Andrew: It's about getting them attracted and to join. The text could say honestly anything on a banner and it wouldn't matter.
[04/08/15 13:15:32] Andrew: http://i.imgur.com/bwQPngD.png
[04/08/15 13:15:38] Jesse (Affixes): Sure it's different than the others, but it doesn't stand out "that much"
[04/08/15 13:16:22] Andrew: yes it does though lol. None of the other ones have anything like that.... It would be unique on nearly any point of .org, at any page...
[04/08/15 13:17:26] Jesse (Affixes): http://i.affixes.io/q0w2knydh6.png
[04/08/15 13:17:55] Jesse (Affixes): I'll stick to my point... It doesn't stand out that much
[04/08/15 13:18:16] Jesse (Affixes): I could put a flashing red banner up there and get anyone's attention
[04/08/15 13:18:32] Jesse (Affixes): But that's beyond the point
[04/08/15 13:18:36] Andrew: personally my eyes point to the odd thing out, I guess yours just don't.
[04/08/15 13:18:43] Andrew: We will wait on Alex.
[04/08/15 13:18:45] Jesse (Affixes): We won't

...At this point things just got ridiculous. I should “chargeback” and wait for Alex to get back. Again, after waiting for almost a month. He said he would give us a refund if we Alex did not like the banner.

Code:
[04/08/15 14:07:46] Andrew: If you're so positive that Alex agrees with you, please go ahead and chargeback, I will discuss it with him when he gets back.
[04/08/15 14:08:36] Jesse (Affixes): PayPal e-mail?
[04/08/15 14:09:00] Andrew: you can find it.
[04/08/15 14:09:10] Jesse (Affixes): I wasn't the one suggesting chargebacks
[04/08/15 14:11:03] Andrew: I was saying till alex gets back, I mean then he can just get the banner he wants when he comes back. Either way it works out that I sell a banner.. but if you want to chargeback then you can go find it.

the current banner will work fine till he gets back.
[04/08/15 14:13:30] Jesse (Affixes): You were paid 120$?
[04/08/15 14:13:42] Jesse (Affixes): That's actually laughable
[04/08/15 14:13:43] Andrew: honestly have no idea.p
[04/08/15 14:15:21] Jesse (Affixes): Yeah, that's you
[04/08/15 14:15:49] Jesse (Affixes): And you specifically stated I should chargeback, right?
[04/08/15 14:16:19] Andrew: No
[04/08/15 14:16:44] Andrew: I said if you want go ahead, if you're positive about how alex agrees with you
[04/08/15 14:17:41] Jesse (Affixes): Thus, you specifically stated I should do it in that case?

... FULL GROUP CONVO CHAT LOG: http://chatformat.com/KMbn7kvr/

I should also point out that this was sent to Alex in PM that same day:

Code:
Alright, basically I made the banner. I feel Prime is ready for something on the next level. To continue to get player joins you need to change it up. Aim for new and unique players. Your partner doesn't seem very fit in aiming Prime in the right direction, he's scared of change, and frankly I spent an extra 2-3 hours to make a banner I could call my best banner because of you. You always told me how you wanted me to make you my best banner. Now you can do what you wish, but remember I have been with you since the first banner, and I will be with you through the last one. We have had one or two mishaps/differences. But that doesn't change the fact my job is to make you get players, and I am going to defend you in that. You can decide however you wish, I won't be hurt, but keep in mind I am here to help prime, this is why I put more into it. http://i.imgur.com/mSDSOrh.gif

Day 37: Alex came back and we both spoke about it. We asked him if something in the banner was fixable but were then told that he doesn’t know if he can fix the main problem -- the text being unreadable. At this point in time, we put the banner in our staff channel and asked them for their opinion. We all agreed that it wasn’t what we were looking for.

Code:
Alex - 2015-08-12 6:15:49 PM: Hey
Alex - 2015-08-12 6:17:46 PM: The sliding animations are a bit blurry, and the text is unreadable
Alex - 2015-08-12 6:17:54 PM: Are those two things fixable?
Andrew - 2015-08-12 8:07:38 PM: Hmm the blurriness I can definately. The unreadable text idk.

On 13/08/15, at 01:17, Alex wrote:
> The sliding animations are a bit blurry, and the text is unreadable
Are those two things fixable?

Day 38: We asked for a refund, which he suggested himself 10 days ago. He then said he couldn’t do that because he “spent 3 hours on the banner”. We then requested a new one, but were told we could only get modifications. Funny, because the apart from a refund, the other option would be a “whole new banner”, as said by himself 10 days prior to the conversation. If we wanted a remake, we’d have to wait for his “10 other banner requests” as we’d be put at last.

Andrew, again, tried to convince us “how much it stood out” and tried to blame the whole situation on me. He was only up to doing very minor changes to the banner and was very rude and unprofessional about any other option. He then left the conversation, was added again, told us he would PM Alex privately, then left again.

Code:
[16/08/15 21:02:49] Alex: Hello?
[16/08/15 21:03:57] Alex: Please refund us, we both dislike the banner due to things you don't know if you could change. We will be finding another artist.
[16/08/15 21:04:11] Andrew: Can't do that, I spent 3 hours on the banner
[16/08/15 21:04:21] Alex: Can you make a new one?
[16/08/15 21:04:29] Andrew: Modifications you can get
[16/08/15 21:05:03] Andrew: With the request of so many things that was the only way to include everything required into 1 banner.
[16/08/15 21:08:45] Andrew: As well as the fact there's no other banner like it, which makes it stand out, and goes with the theme of everything. I put extra time in to make something good and unique for you and now you're just trashing at it most likely because your manager isn't fond of me. As I said I am only trying to help, and I kinda know what I am doing here orelse I wouldn't be doing it, but it's on you to put fourth the trust.
[17/08/15 00:11:47] Alex: Please remake it as there doesn't seem to be a way for you to edit it to our preferences

... FULL GROUP CONVO CHAT LOG: http://chatformat.com/KMbn7kvr/

So, he took it to PM, where he (yet again) tried to convince Alex of how great it was and how much it would stand out. Alex then (again) pointed out why we didn’t like the banner. What we wanted changed was unchangeable as per Andrew’s words, so we were really starting to get out of options. In the end, his cooperation was getting worse and worse; we had to “choose for edits or nothing”.

Alex repeatedly asked for a refund, which he denied in a very rude manner. After giving some more life lessons on how I’m a, nicely said, “bad choice” as a Manager, he was blocked and we initiated a chargeback.

See screenshots (Start from 10 --> 1):

Our point:

Dealing with Andrew has been great before, but this is just absolutely ridiculous. We paid him 120$ for a service, a service which I (and later everyone else) ended up not liking. As an artist, you make a deal with a company (Yes, we are a company) and not with a specific person. He failed to see that, but probably used it as an excuse to wait for Alex because he was too busy with something else.

He continually ignored my requests, and ended up ignoring Alex’s as well. Everything was handled in an extremely rude and selfish matter. He seems to be very full of himself, being a 100% sure he knows what’s best for his customer, while that's up to them to decide.

He offered a refund, we asked for it, he ended up not wanting to do that.
He offered a new banner, we asked for it, he ended up not wanting to do that either (And tried to scare us off from that option because we were “11th in line”)
He offered changes, we asked for them, he said he couldn’t do most of it.

Honestly did not expect this from someone that known in the community. Would suggest to deal with proper cause, as he certainly doesn’t seem to cooperate when you don’t like his product. That is completely apart from the fact that he was 24 days late...

[03/08/15 23:35:53] Andrew: but not with me

[04/08/15 13:18:45] Jesse (Affixes): We won't

... FULL GROUP CONVO CHAT LOG: http://chatformat.com/KMbn7kvr/

...At this point things just got ridiculous.

See screenshots (Start from 10 --> 1):

I'll release a statement about the PrimeMC situation soon as I'm honestly sick of all the bullshit being said about it now. You weren't involved, so don't try to be. You can't just throw out statements without providing any proof what so ever.

Affixes did an amazing job on my new Prison setup (which you'll be able to view later today on IP: minebrawl.org). Everything looks very clean, and he paid particular attention to balancing the gamemode and monetizing it perfectly. Well worth the $450 I spent, as I'll make that back in the first hour of the reset/update.

I'd recommend him for any server setup needs you have. I'd also suggest that you not lowball him on setups, as they are huge 40+ hour endeavors. I thought the price I paid was reasonable until I realized how many hours he has to spend on each setup. He's actually making very little per hour, so I'd take advantage of it while prices stay low.

+1

Looking forward to seeing this!

Jesse

Did you just... what? You stated it was just you, yet went on to say "We're" as though your business includes of more than one person rather than simply saying "I'm" Why? But beautiful service. You do the job for those who are too lazy.

People usually refer to a company as "we", I understand the confusion with that though.

[04/08/15 13:18:45] Jesse (Affixes): We won't

... FULL GROUP CONVO CHAT LOG: http://chatformat.com/KMbn7kvr/

...At this point things just got ridiculous.

See screenshots (Start from 10 --> 1):

The experiences I have with this user personally are very negative and I'd advise you all to stay away.

Before the sales thread came out for this service, I hired Jesse and payed him extremely generously to help me with an emergency situation that was going on my prison server at the time.

Essentially, there was a serious economic problem going on on my prison server so we forced to temporarily disable the economy which was disruptive to the gameplay to say the least. What was going on was that players who had the most money were paying brand new players quadrillions of dollars for their /vote keys, which was being extremely disruptive to the gameplay for the new players since by using a single command they could rankup over 30 times and prestige accordingly.

After working with my top administrators, I figured I'd pay Jesse in order to help me intensively troubleshoot and think-tank the problem. I was extremely desperate to find a solution for my player-base and was willing to pay Jesse accordingly.

At first, Jesse expressed serious disinterest with the issue which I respected. However, I stayed persistent because I was determined to find a solution to this logic flaw in the economy.

I continued to approach him and offered him an extremely generous sum of money (hundreds of dollars) to intensively troubleshoot the issue with me, brainstorm a solution, and implement the reasonable solution with me in a timely and effective manner.

Sure enough, he accepted my offer. I was thrilled that we were beginning to search for a solution together. I figured I had the brains behind Prime MC's extremely successful prison server on my team and was paying extremely generously for it. Why worry?

I messaged him about ten times in the next twenty four hours, all to no responses. I was paying him the extremely sharp fee in order to solve the issue in a timely manner with me and he was dodging my messages after he was paid in full. I was outraged. Sure enough, twenty four hours later he messaged me and told me he was busy. I told him it was fine but that we needed to cooperate in order to solve this issue together.

Sure enough, several more days passed and I began to become furious. Where was this reputable contractor who I had paid so much money to for a quick solution? After about two more days, he ended up messaging me very briefly and saying something very vague like "disable the economy" which was the system we already had in place for weeks. I was absolutely furious. I told him that we already had that system in place and I confronted him and informed him that I knew he hadn't even logged into the server yet. He admitted to me that he hadn't begun work yet after trying to play it off like he had found this solution after hours of study, and then informed me he'd be taking hundreds of dollars for the time we spent negotiating.

At this point, I decided to get my good friend and the site owner Mick involved. I told him that Jesse, otherwise known as Affixes, was completely and utterly abusing his staff rank in order to scam other users and that he had to be dealt with immediately. I pasted him our entire conversation and Mick was baffled. He spoke with Jesse, at which point after several hours he decided to give me half my money back, and he told me he'd give me the other half if I made a thread and got the community's support on my side.

I'm a very discreet person which is why it has taken me so long to come forward to this but I feel it is my duty to watch out for this community. Five or six people have come to me in the past few weeks asking for my opinion on Prodity and I've been forced to share my shocking experience with them and turn them away from doing business with Affixes.

If I receive a full refund on my original payment as opposed to this half for the time spent negotiating the price, I'll remove the option and contact the users who I've advised to turn away from you telling them that you've come to your senses.

I am to this day extremely disappointed in Mick for taking the side of a scammer simply because he was a staff member.

In short folks, I'd advise everyone on this community to stay as far from Affixes as possible due to my past experience.

If this, and my scam report which is soon to be posted, get censored I'll be leaving the community for good and pasting this story to contacts any time Prodity or Affixes is mentioned within my conversations and circles.

Given the other negative responses posted on this thread, I'd advise anyone with a negative experience with Affixes and Prodity to please come forward.

Individually we are silent but together we cannot be ignored.
