The Byte is an aspiring network with goals to exceed all set precedents. We are an organisation that spotlights all things looked highly upon in the Minecraft community. We want to revolutionize what it means to work on a server, play on a server, and get involved with a community. Together we produce and will continue to produce extraordinary accomplishments through all of our sub divisions. In total we average around 50 members throughout all teams, and are constantly recycling old to new members in order to sustain a fresh, friendly, and welcoming environment. With quality and professionalism at the top of our interests and priorities, we also take pride in our laid back atmosphere where a group of great people can play the game we all know and love.
Who are we?
The Byte is more than just an average server; we are a team. Everyone involved with the Byte is a member of the team, whether you are a player, staff member, or developer. We are home to some of the most prestigious names in the community and thoroughly want to expand. The Byte is proudly presented by Podcrash. Podcrash is the wonderful team that calls Cops and Robbers their own. We have a strong partnership with this organisation and build team and wish to use it to it’s full potential. The Byte contains a moderation team, development team, artist team (Animators, Youtube Partners, Gfx Artists), a admin team, and build team (Podcrash). We want to host a fun and welcoming environment for hundreds upon hundreds of players across the world. Contrary to the majority of Minecraft servers, the Byte will take pride in valuing player enjoyment above donations and all other benefits. We will, in fact, have donation ranks, but any sort of profit that is not put into improving the network, will go straight to charities and fundraisers. As suggested by a manager, we will be focusing on helping brain cancer research - as an example.
What are we looking for?
The Byte is looking for all of those who feel they can contribute to the Byte in some way shape or form. Specifically we are looking for talented developers who are seeking to work in a professional setting. However, mods, administrators, artists, and lore writers are also highly welcomed to give it a shot aswell! (Yes the Byte will follow a strong lore to keep our games, builds, and projects consistent).
By what means are we going to accomplish this?
The Byte is looking to have a grand opening at the end of November, this means all of our games and projects need to be fully complete and of utmost quality. For advertisement we are gladly partnered with Youtubers ranging from .6 million subs to 2.5 million subs (This is just the tip of the iceberg.) For hosting, we have gladly received multiple sponsorship opportunities. Funds are supported by the build team, administration team, our sponsors, and of course donations (We have absolutely nothing to worry about).
