Profile Views Counter

Hello,

This is less of a serious or ciritical suggestion, but one I'd like to see implemented later down the line as a sort of little cosmetic or little counter located on each (or possibly only premium/supreme) users' profiles. There isn't much of an actual use to this suggestion, just something I think would be neat. This can be seen already in use on forum platforms such as enjin. All constructive feedback welcome and appreciated.

I personally do not see the point in this, nor would I want it to be enabled on my profile. If this were to be implemented, it should be an optional thing for each member. Such as only letting the people you follow see it, members only or no one but yourself.

How does it necessarily benefit a user to see the count?

Also, 1337, it should also not increase your profile views when you view it, otherwise people may try to "farm profile views" lol

Perhaps it could be like Instagram, whereas it shows profile visits within the last week or so.

I’m a bit confused, so it’s basically like the view count on threads? To add on to this, maybe let you view everyone who’s looked at your profile page and when?

The original suggestion was just a simple profile views counter/field where you (and/or others) could see how many people have visited your profile.

It's too late to add a view counter now considering the website is 5 years old and it wouldn't be anywhere close to accurate, and I don't see any reason why we should get this developed.

Plus, users will inevitably attempt to viewbot their profile because that's the sort of userbase we have
