Program Information

[Medicate]

Hello all,

I’m attempting to get into graphics and design so, I recently bought a Wacom drawing tablet.
The tablet was recommended to me by a friend and I’ve got to enjoy experimenting with it from the few days I’ve owned it.

I wanted some recommendations or suggestions on what programs I should use on specifically drawing avatars and logos.
I can decently hand draw so, I was looking for a smooth program that allows me to trace what I uploaded on a separate layer. Most of the programs I tried out didn’t have a smooth texture to it.

Programs(s) need to be cheap/preferably under $75-50 or free.
