Hey everyone, I'm fairly new here but I thought I might as well share my idea.

So to get straight to the point, I was wondering if anyone would join a Discord channel for programmers. I had a few ideas, one being that the group focused on one language (eg Java) and we all share and learn together (eg Resources, guides, and trouble shooting problems) Or it could be one giant group for programmers of all languages with different channels for different languages, with a ranking system within the group for 'proven' programmers that are willing to help out or mentor others in the group (Free or Paid?)

This has just come to my head but I'm not sure this has been done and if I could group programmers/new programmers together making it easier to connect as well learn.

Please leave your thoughts down below but please, try not to trash this thread.

This sounds awesome! I would definitely join it. :) I think it would be nice for a group just for java.

I think I may go ahead with the group and like you say, just make it java. Even if not many people join, bringing some people closer together is better than nothing![DOUBLEPOST=1499595845][/DOUBLEPOST]UPDATE: I have decided to continue with this idea and will make a new thread once the group is ready for beta testing!

Absolutely! That's me! I created this group as a place to learn from one another and expand our knowledge and help each other.
