Hello there. Just decided to make a thread reaching out to developers, picking their brains for a bit. Also just wanting to interact a bit with y'all. Here are a couple of questions:

What tools do you use for developing?
I use Eclipse for most of my development and I have looked into IntelliJ, just not too fond of it. Komodo Edit for Perl. I use terminal at times when needed. Usually just to automate processes. I can write in bash and zsh.

Which languages are you proficient in, and which are wanting to learn in the near future? I'm currently proficient in: Java, C++, C#, VB, C, Perl, Batch, Bash. What I'm wanting to learn in the near feature is App development. Specifically Objective-C, or I believe Apple has switched to Swift, not quite sure.

C++ is the best language out there. I mostly prefer programming Java in Eclipse.

Compilers:
GCC (MinGW), LLVM, Go compiler, Java compiler (javac)

Which languages are you proficient in, and which are wanting to learn in the near future?
Languages I know:
Java, Python, Go, C#, Batch, Lua, Groovy

Languages I want to learn:
D, Rust, C++, C, ASM (Any architecture)

I am hoping my knowledge will expand soon, as I am about to enter college, and will be working towards a bachelors (and eventually a masters) degree in Computer Science

Eclipse or occasionally IntelliJ for Java and Sublime for any web stuff.

Which languages are you proficient in, and which are wanting to learn in the near future?
The main language I work in is Java (though I do know CSS and some JavaScript), but I plan on learning pretty much any decent language I find time to learn because I would like to get a masters in computer science. The languages at the top of my list to learn are probably C# or C++.
