Basically an upgrade to the feedback section. A user would list a project in this section such as a website, server, etc. The users will then be able to rate it from 1-5 stars and write a small review of their thoughts on it.

An additional idea can be a top rated project of the week,month,etc.

I feel it would be better if people couldn't just hate on it. So people are only allowed to leave constructive criticism

Services could be useful if people also could reason as to why as well as having it moderated. If you had a bad client or someone as dislikes you, they could easily ruin your thread or reputation.

Reviews and average total rating of the project would be public. If someone hasn't dealt with you and fakes a transaction or abuses it to make you look bad, consequences will be involoved like normal rule breaks. It technically falls under "do not abuse ratings"[DOUBLEPOST=1458050014][/DOUBLEPOST]Chearful Senior Pablo leave your reason below why you disagree. Otherwise I find it as abuse of rating since you no reason to disagree.

It seems good the way it is right now.

Besides, knowing MCM if they take on a suggestion, they'll heavily modify it and make it worse.

I'm neutral on it tbh but I don't see what is wrong with the correct section.

I feel the feedback idea we have here as I said is more of an upgrade. It could still be called feedback I guess but "Rate a project" Section sounds better.

Otherwise, MCM will not modify it as the changes that have occurred have made some negative impacts and will be resolved soon.

Well it's not that this is exactly a bad idea. I just see a major flaw similar to the flaw in the trade reputation system. Users could abusing the rating system on this implementation. Then we have users complaining to the staff about their ratings being false. The staff would then have to go out of their way to remove the rating and warn/punish the user who gave the false rating.

Why would they have to remove it if it was legit? Right now the thread system is the same thing. You report something if it's bashing or abusing, right? What's the difference?

With your star rating, if a user recieves a rating that is not legit. The staff would have to remove it. If you allowed the OP of the thread to remove bad ratings they can remove all the left negative ratings. The staff are also "super" busy and work "super" hard everyday. We can't pressure them into doing more work!

Hey I mean that's a legitimate message I got from some admin on here at one point. It made me laugh for a good five or ten minutes.

If I told you that I would be able to convince the staff to make this system work, would you agree to the idea? It's all about compromise and this is a good idea in my opinion.

If you could convince them to do this I could agree to this. It just reminds me a bit of the trade reputation system. It had one flaw that created more work for the staff and they flat out abandoned it. If it follows a similar path as that it could just create drama.
