Very interesting idea, however, how do you plan to have a server then have a mental health discord? I do understand that more people than often do need/want help with mental health although how would mixing that with a minecraft server go together?
Where would the profits go just into the server? Donate it somewhere?
And if no one will keep their administration privilege's are you just looking for someone to help set up the entire thing then just leave?

I have worked with this user before and know he is serious about mental health, also interesting idea!
The mental health program would run in the background. It would be advertised to players every now and again, in-game moderators would be able to refer players to the program if they felt it was necessary. At no point will the theme of the server be mixed in with the program. The whole idea of the server is for you to be able to escape from reality and just have fun, provided that this type of genre is enjoyable for you.
Monthly, the elected administration will determine where profits go. They will have complete control over this and ALL server finances will be made public. This administration will be accountable to the public. The cut that I take and the costs of running the server will ALWAYS be made public.
I would absolutely hope that the person who helps me bring this project alive sticks around. As I mentioned, they will gain in-game recognition with possibly a sum of in-game cash, to build a business empire, invest in other businesses, exert influence with money, etc etc.
I should also mention that I would like this to be hyper-realistic where the possibilities are endless. This isn't your standard 'choose your class: cop or robber' kind of server, this is if you want to wake up one day and be innovative and start a business you can, if you want to go and bomb the city centre, who am I to stop you. (this will be up to the in-game administration to be investing public taxation - in-game money - into proper security services - player driven
This is very complex, I can understand that, but this does not all have to be plugin driven, alot of it can be done by just pure common sense. And the best thing abou this is that we can start with a blank world, and the community will build the cities.

- When the server is released, the person who helps me make this into a reality will be granted one term as the leader of server administration (final title to be decided) - I believe this is only fair and they can indeed be re-elected
- Not all elements can be hyper-realistic as this may ruin gameplay, so I may need to make some cuts to hyper-realism in benefit of gameplay
- On release, the only 'law' will be the constitution which will govern the basic rules for in-game society and will construct the foundation for which the server will be built on. There will not be a list of server rules like other servers
- We will release with a small pre-built city with a capacity for just 20 players. It will be up to the population and the administration to increase capacity, if they don't, people will be homeless and jobless, this is just how the world spins
- An in-game day will be 12 hours long (6 hours day, 6 hours night) and 28 in-game days will be a month, there will be 12 months. Same months and days as IRL. This is not final, and can be changed depending on how gameplay plays out

I now have a business partner helping me build this project, however this will take alot of work to get going due to the sheer detail we are going into.
I am now asking for anyone with any talents at all that they think we could find useful to come along and join us!
Just SOME examples of the skills that are in huge demand;
-Developers (Java, Web)
-Graphic artists
-Gameplay & QA Testers
-Builders
I will post a dedicated post later at some stage requesting some more volunteers!

Great Idea although I am curious how you intend to protect people with mental health issues as they are usually at an incredibly vulnerable point.
So what safeguards will be in place to protect those individuals? Appart from your first aid knowleadge.

The most important thing you can do for someone struggling with mental health issues, is make them feel heard and like they have a voice. A critical element of the program will be empowering them to reach out and seek more professional, advanced help. Critically, it also helps that they will be reaching out to us as their peers which symbolises a strong first step in getting better.
Toxicity and judgement will not be tolerated in this program so we will encourage everyone and anyone who has a story to tell, to tell us it. With complete anonymity.
In terms of safeguards we will operate in a similar fashion to that of Childline or Samaritans (Two UK charities that support mental health with online procedures) - these procedures will not be made public.
