Who are we?
Welcome to Project Kraken, an upcoming comics studio! Project Kraken is a comic studio that will be creating comics, obviously, and hopefully, an entire universe based off one of our future comics. The faces behind Project Kraken are Khaliq and Alex. Khaliq is an innovative 15-year-old from the United States and Alex is an imaginative 16-year-old also from the United States, together they are the dynamic duo. Project Kraken was established on May 10th, 2018 by Khaliq, later that day, Alex was also introduced into the project. At the moment, there is no comic in production. We will announce our upcoming productions in #announcements and post teasers in #public-teasers.
What're our goals?
Our goals here at Project Kraken are to bring a new type of comic studio to the world, at the moment, there are only really two known comic universes, Marvel and DC Universe. Our production team are very creative and will definitely provide an interesting comic that will have readers hooked! Who's on our team? There are currently 4 team members apart of Team Kraken, Khaliq and Alex run the entire studio, Khaliq handles recruitment and operations and Alex handles the production and design teams. Our Production team consist of 2 members, Claudia and Qasim! Claudia is a very positive and bubbly person and has a lot of energy to bring to the team and Qasim is a humorous and chill guy, who has a lot a knowledge of all memes, ever.
What we're looking for are multiple people to join the Kraken team and help us along this mission. We have fun and experienced members apart from our leadership team, making mellowness and integrity are core values at Kraken. We value a few things - Integrity and Mellowness, as mentioned before, Loyalty, Professionalism, and Friendliness. A studios staff team needs people with these values, and without them, we fail! Concept Artist
A concept artist is a designer who visualizes & creates art for characters, creatures, vehicles, environments, and other creative assets. We have two branches for concept artist, visual artist and script artist. Visual concept artist creates models, animations, and many more, um, psychical things for our comics. However, for Script Concept artist, they create text-based descriptions for our comics. If you're a really creative and innovative person, this is the position for you!
Storywriter
Storywriters are writers for our comic books. These are the people who write everything you'll see in our comics, from dialogue all the way to sound effects! (WHAM!); There are a few requirements that applicants must meet before applying for this position. This position can be pretty time-consuming so only applicants with an open schedule should apply, You must have a strong understanding of the English language and, you must be really creative to apply! That is a key factor for this position!
Artist
Artists are the artist for our comic books. They create all of the art seen in our comics, that of course, the concept artist has created. Artist spends countless hours drawing our characters, backgrounds and anything else art-based in the story. Our comics will be only hand-drawn at the moment, so if you're interested in this position, please have a resume ready and an extensive skill base for hand-drawing and digital art.
