Welcome to Project Unknowns Official recruitment thread. Project Unknown is a towny / survival community, planning to run a good minecraft server (professionally). We want to give our players the "not normal" or "special" feeling that we feel like Towny and Survival server are lacking in. We want that extra kick if you know what I mean. We are looking for dedicated enthusiastic individuals to help build this community into reality. People who are creative, friendly and mature, people who are always willing to learn new things.

Professionalism. We believe this is something our community needs as this is one of the keys to server success in minecraft. "The competence or skill expected of a professional", we treat this as a MUST have for our staff team. I, personally set my standards very high with: recruiting, rules and organization. We provide a professional but fun environment for all players, that's our moto here at Unknown.
Specs. We are currently looking for hosting (we will have a server in the next couple of days) as I have already found a server host: "I can do so for absolutely free with 56 cores and 256 GB of RAM, as I work with Softlayer and IBM"
Why I do it. I enjoy the thrill and challenge of trying to make a successful minecraft community because the likeliness is
as great as you make it, the harder you work the more effort you get out of it. I hope the players get as much love and happiness out of it as I do.
Our plans. Project Unknown plans to make a successful and well-ran Towny and or Survival based server as I feel like players are adapting to new gamemodes. We plan for custom building, coding and project making. We would love to share this experience with you all. These are just the backbones.
Our Standards. We here at Unknown have standards to uphold for all of our ranking members. These standards make sure we are getting trustworthy and dedicated people. We want people who are productive and can handle themselves under stressful situations. Because at the end of the day you aren't just dealing with hackers, you are representing our community and its members making sure they feel safe in the environment we offer!

Application process. During your application review we will place you in a discord category and this category (Pending) we will have a word to our staff members, check your background and ban records and make sure you find the requirements (will be strict on this) and then give you a final answer.
Interview. For lower ranked positions (Support) you do not require an interview however when being promoted to Moderator you will need to. If you are applying for a higher ranked position you will need to be interviewed.
Staff Guidelines. When accepted you will need to review our staff handbook for information.
