Welcome to my thread, I'm glad to have peaked your interest enough to come this far! Hopefully I can bring a really exciting opportunity for a number of people.
I intend on creating a minecraft network. However, I'm looking for like minded people who have the same desire but maybe don't have the financial backing to do so. I am looking for smart, reliable, passionate and creative individuals to aid build a community that is not driven by donations and instead focuses on the main focal point - the player.
I currently have a XenForo license (forum software) unused ready to start building a landing page but would like to build a team before commencing and to start building up creative ideas how we will move with the server.
I intend on bringing on three people, a forum director, game director and creative director. These three people will aid me in shaping Project X and will run their own section with entire creative control. Listed below are some requirements for each role:
Forum Director
- Proficent with the use of XenForo software (Installing, optimizing plugins, resources)
- Can creatively create forum nodes
- Amend user group permissions
- Engage with a forum community
- Ability to recruit volunteer forum moderators
- Mature, with a good written/verbal communication
- Desirable aged over 18
Game Director
- Experience in running/developing a Minecraft server
- Understanding of appropriate plugins and optimization
- Ability to work in a team (will work closely with creative director)
- Understand how to operate a server using a VPS
- Ability to recruit in-game Game Masters
- Mature, with a good written/verbal communication
- Creative outlooks on the future of how the game should go
- Assist with Discord management
- Desirable aged over 18
Creative Director
- Experienced in building and project management
- Can set goals and meet them
- Find and recruit exceptional builders
- Optimize game map functionality
- Work closely with Game director to optimize require plugins
- Strong understanding of game plugins
- Recruit a team that would assist you with task
- Recruit an events team in time
- Assist with Discord management
- Mature, with a good written/verbal communication
- Desirable aged over 18
