PS4 new or old?

I have the option to get a new PS4 that's more expensive or buy a friends old one, the old one is about 2 years old. but in good condition, will this affect its framerate etc. Will it be laggy?

I bought a used one and it was scratched up really bad but works well

so I should be fine? 2 years though, Will that effect its performance

No it shouldnt since to my knowledge you cant get a virus etc on a ps4

Ok cool, I'm going to buy it (Cheap) and then if its crap I will just sell it and buy a ps4 pro.
