Well, about two weeks ago or so, I purchased a plugin from Teg.
It added a bunch of custom bows, and the deal was to have it done the following Wednesday, the current day was Sunday.

I contacted him on Wednesday, and he said that the plugin would be done that night.
I still hadn't gotten the plugin by Thursday and he said that he was "busy", but the plugin would be done that night.

Again, on Friday morning I had not had my plugin.
He would not respond to my messages, so I made a scam report.

After that, Teg gets all mad.
He refunds me and says that he will just post the plugin publicly.

If you do not want a dev that will turn back on a deal, and steal your plugin idea, I HIGHLY suggest you stay away from this user.

Cewl,
Nice to know,
but shouldnt it be that he should give you the plugin not a refund, as he wasted your time efforts and ideas?

???? I don't see what's wrong here. I'm working on a plugin for you (almost done with it) then suddenly you create a scam report. Now think about the end result: A plugin that's basically finished that I won't get paid for and a scam report. Of course I'm not just gonna let the plugin sit there.

If anything, I'd recommend users to not do business with you. You're all trigger happy with creating scam reports. When a scam report is resolved (it being not a scam) keep in mind that it still exists and will forever stay there. In my opinion that's not good for business and you're basically ruining my reputation because you couldn't wait a little longer.

You kept lieing about the time it would be done, and didn't respond to my messages.

I created a scam report because i truly felt you were scamming me.

While I agree that he jumped the gun a little, you also shouldn't be saying when something will be done when you can't meet it.

The moral of this is that MetalMonkey you need to have patience for deals being completed. If you open a scam report on a user that is almost done with a job, that would be awful for the user. It is unjust to open a scam report on a user who is almost done with the job. I would give him a bit extra time before opening a scam report. Just be glad that he gave you a refund.

I agree with Teg, Why let the plugin just sit there? He did not scam you if you're the one who filed a scam report towards him. He was busy so what.. everyone is busy in life... No one is not busy.

If you open up a scam report on me who finish the job before the due date, you would get suspended because you back off a deal aka due date that you two agreed.
He didn't finish it before the due date, so what you just said was entirely irreverent.

I think you might have rushed this a bit. Patience is always a important aspect in business, it's imperative that you learn it. Also, how is this even considered a scam? You got refunded and he got to keep him plugin, he can do whatever he wants with it now.

I honestly don't see what you're mad about. He told you that something came up, and that he was going to be late on the plugin. He obviously isn't going to let all his work go to waste. You're the one that shouldn't be dealt with because you're impatient.

He gave me a time frame, and he couldn't complete it even after muktiple extra days.

It is his fault, not mine.[DOUBLEPOST=1461201904][/DOUBLEPOST]

He told me twice that the plugin would be done that noght. Both times were not completed.

And please tell me, what kind of stuff "comes up".

So he gave you your money back, things happen, people get busy, it's life. If the case of "he wasted my time" is on the table, is waiting for a plugin that time consuming? It's not like you did any of the work on it, you just say back waiting.

Possibly more school work than you had planned on, a test the next day, having to work overtime at your job, etc. Would you rather the plugin be done well, or be some sloppily thrown together plugin that may or may not work because he was tired when making it?

He didn't. He made the most of the plugin, you demanded a refund and you got it. Why sit on the plugin?

Yes but he stole my idea
Perhaps, but then again, he put the effort into the plugin, your idea into action. That's something you could not do. By doing that work, it automatically involves him in said idea. I'm also going to assume this idea isn't under any copyright. If so, there's no rule being broken, just a tad scummy move.
