It's not a "Minecraft item". It was an idea somewhat related to Minecraft that was to be made in Java.
Why do you think Mojang hasn't closed down Spigot for being a place for people to sell plugins?

Teg is a very talented developer and a great person to work with. I've known him for years just from online and he's serious when it comes to business. You got mad that your plugin was not done exactly on the deadline, and people have personal lives, just because you sit on your computer all day with your thumb up your ass doesn't mean Teg does too. I'm sure he would have compensated you for the extra day(s) it would have taken to finish it too.
