According to the EULA, yepQuick can't hold intellectual property over minecraft items.
Maybe because they don't want to turn the community against them? The community is like a bear, you don't just go poking it with a stick.It's not a "Minecraft item". It was an idea somewhat related to Minecraft that was to be made in Java.
