PSA: Move Off LastPass - Go To BitWarden Or Alternatives

Hi All,

LastPass this year, who are owned by the god forsaken rubbish company LogMeIn, are deciding to force users to pay for their subscription by using a "Two device system". Basically this means that you can only have it on "Desktops/Laptops/PCs", you know, the "Windows and linux" devices, and "Portable devices", such as "Mobiles, Smartphones, Smartwatches, etc" If you are using LastPass Free, which I know a lot are, PLEASE read the article carefully.

This is truely a scummy way by LogMeIn, but nothing you can do. :/

If you use LastPass on your mobile and PC, just switch to BitWarden. Takes 5 minutes. Simple.

Just installed Bitwarden and bought premium for $10/year (self-hosted) and it’s amazing. 10/10 highly recommend

LogMeIn are an awful company but in fairness, they are a business so it seems they are encouraging more users to buy a subscription which is fair enough. There's plenty of other free alternatives out there and just like they did to LogMeIn Remote Access, this move will just push users away.

Been using Bitwarden for a while now, can vouch! Best password manager in my opinion.
