PUBG remake?

Hello players of MCM,

I was thinking about creating a server like PUBG, Fortnite or H1Z1. They are the most played games lately and I wanted to make a server out of it. How much would this kind of features cost and also how long would the server creating take.

NoStrength Effect
This is basically after enemy shoots you couple times and you fall down. You’re losing health time by time and only way to survive is through your teammate rescuing you.

Falling Effect
When you’re falling down from the plane, you need to press SHIFT to do it first. Once you’re falling, is there possible to be falling effect like you’re face is facing down instead of basic Minecraft falling.

Moving Plane
So this is basically just blocks moving at the start and you’re inside the plane moving aswell. Or it could be something like more realistic looking, such as in famous GTA servers. (where is SSundee playing at rn)

Custom Texture Pack
This makes the world look so much more realistic and walls more broken and houses more detailed.

Team Voice Chat
If this is possible, then the teammates would be able to communicate with each other. If not possible, then they would just type and only team members see the messages (NOBODY ELSE)

Gear Dropped Around The World
There would be gear dropped around the world and when they go near the item they won’t pick it up immediately, they will look at the item and press F, you will also see a hologram showing the item name of what you’re picking.

Shrinking Zone
The zone will be shrinking every 2 minutes about 100 blocks. If they’re outside the safe zone, they will have 30 seconds to enter the safe one or they will die.

Moving Cars & Bikes
There would be couple bikes and cars around the world. They will go same fast as minecart.

Tier 1 - 3 gear
Gears will have levels from 1 to 3.

Tier 1 Gear
Sword (Wooden)
Chestplate (Leather)
Boots (Leather) (Speed I)

Tier 2 Gear
Sword (Stone)
Chestplate (Iron)
Boots (Iron) (Speed I)

Tier 3 Gear
Sword (Iron)
Chestplate (Diamond)
Boots (Diamond) (Speed II)

Just tell me how much this kind of server would cost with these features.

In case you didn't know, there is already a server like this. Not to mention that Hypixel is making one too.

Make it modded, you could add voice chat and cool features but would cost a TON

For the voice chat, I would suggest a mumble/discord modified mod.

Hey MangoKisa,

Firstly, amazing imagination you have, but unfortunately you have a very pricey one also.

Some key notes:
If you do go through with this, have it built mostly by a team of developers who are not only respected in a community but have a large capability of making something like this. The project wouldn't come out anywhere near as good + cost would also be increased if you found separate users/teams to build certain parts.
It'll essentially be a completely unique twist on the survival games gamemode, the issue is here that you're only reaching out to a niche audience - for example the GTA Servers are niche and have a set playerbase that doesn't flux much.

Back to your actual question, you're more than likely looking atleast mid 4 figures for this project with ease. The time it'd take to create is dependent on things like:
Is it a development team working on it?
Is it a single developer?
The teams/users capability and knowledge when it comes to this "type" of gamemode (It's unique, but can be put beside something else to use as an idea to get a better understanding, such as Survival Games)


Additional Notes:
Team Voice Chat: I don't think this is possible, although you could sort a system out where each team was given a discord password to pre-made channels or automated based on an in-game system and they could use that for voice chat, other than that it'd be team specific text chat in-game.
I love the idea and the creativity, wish you the best of luck and would love to see this actually be a thing one day under your ownership.

• elytra: obv very easy,
• weapons: crackshot + crackshot plus,
• voice chat: mumble,
• random weapon spawn: basically a joke now...
• clickable holographic displays,
• lootcrates: easy
• Vehicles: vehicleapi
• Supressors and addable parts: gui, medium/hard

That covers it. When you look at it that way, you understand that its way more easier than you thought.
