For developers such as my self that do not want to give support to users that have not purchased the plugin, its time consuming to verify every user that wants support.

Someone made an API for spigot so you can check the buyers list but that requires you to log into your account. In my opinion I would never use an API to log into any account.

So I am suggesting to make the Buyers lists public or even make it an option for the authors to make the buyers list public. This way we can make automatic authentication "systems" without having to sign into our accounts. This would also make authors such as my self give support easier since we don't have to manually verify users in our own ways.

Pros:
- Automatic verification systems.
- Do not have to login to view buyers list.
- Convenience

Cons:
- Users not wanting others to know they bought the resource.

I am not absolutely sure but I think this is a built in feature of Xenforo so an addon shouldn't be necessary.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

"You will not use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or other automated means or interface to access the Service or extract other user’s information"

Not going to happen. Been suggested before, but as we're not allowed to create bots that get information so there is really no point in having the buyer lists public.

I don't see that anywhere in https://www.mc-market.org/wiki/rules/ am I misreading it?

NVM Found it in https://www.mc-market.org/wiki/terms/. Welp throws the idea out the window but lets see what happens.

After reading it. The intention of that term is to not gain access to private user information... Such as accessing other accounts or that accounts private info etc... Allowing users to publicly show the list should be up to the author of the resource. And if the users don't agree with it they just simply don't buy the resource... But like I said we will see what happens.

As BGHD has said, it is not allowed to automatically interface with the site in the way that you are suggesting at the moment. We have plans to introduce an API to the site for our Ultimate users in the future which should hopefully be able to solve the problem you've brought up.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
