Been trying to get an ad slot in the build section for months, and then my ads end up getting declined since I didn't get notified. Really want to be at the top of the page but other people beat me to the punch and are in queue, really feels like there is no way to get an ad slot. I would be willing to pay more than most people would, however that's not an option either. Why?

You could argue "that doesn't give newer people a chance" so then maybe make a system where ads can be swapped out every week, and a large amount of people can pay to be in rotation. Or ad auction slots. Or just increase the ad amounts on certain forums. I just really don't see a point to it being as it is right now.

More money for the website, more people are happy that their ads are there, and the freaking giant ass service teams can stop hogging the top slots for years in the building section and some newer people can actually have a chance to be at the top.

This is what MCM plans on going to when the revamp the site, but the argument with current ad owners is that because they have supported mcm so long in buying the ads for as long as they have, that it would be cruel to force supporters of MCM out with more people. Whether that argument holds weight is up for debate, but this is in the near future.

Great to see this is being changed.

People primarily purchase ads to be at the top of the list and have more business, not because they want to support mcmarket. They have bought ads as long as they have in place of other people doing the exact same thing (atleast in the building section). Don't make it seem as if the "supporters of MCM" are doing this out of just wanting to give money to mcmarket out of the kindness of their hearts. That's just a bogus argument so that they can keep their place at the top.

The majority of people wanting to purchase ads where it's profitable are not happy because they get buried under everyone else and don't get a chance to even get approved.
