Hello,

I own a web host, and we've been looking into purchasing our own or a few servers for a while now to colocate in a datacenter.

Please not we are not looking for a dedicated server. Do not contact me you're selling a rented dedicated server - I am not interested. We are looking for a server we can purchase from someone and then own ourselves.

We are looking for two categories of servers, you must fit into one of these categories.

Category 1:
  • Minimum CPU base clock of 3.2 GHz
  • Maximum CPU boost clock of 4.0 GHz
  • Must use DDR3 or DDR4 RAM
  • CPU must have hyperthreading
  • CPU must have 8 cores
  • Cannot be Intel X-Series
  • 128GB RAM would be a huge plus, but it's not required
Category 2:
  • Minimum CPU base clock of 3.7 GHz
  • Minimum CPU boost clock of 4.3 GHz
  • Must use DDR4 RAM
  • CPU must have hyperthreading
  • CPU must have 8 cores
  • 128GB RAM would be a huge plus, but it's not required
If you're roughly close to these requirements, then you can still contact me. These are not 100% hard requirements, but it's the optimal requirements.

Please contact me on Discord at Zerxal#7199 if you would be interested in selling your server. We will be confirming on-site.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

If you're looking for new built-to-order servers, Dave from GoPCN has some pretty good offerings. They're widely known on WHT and I've personally purchased servers from them before without a problem. The inclusion of a warranty is a plus for those who are just getting started. However, it's important to keep in mind that the categories you've specified require a higher budget. If anything, eBay has tons of good used/new offerings often at a lower price if you're comfortable with building your own server.

Yes, I have already looked into them. They use new hardware from what it seems and we don’t need new hardware. We can save a lot by using used hardware.

Along with that, it looks like for the AMD servers they just buy the bare bone servers from ASRock Rack and install the RAM, drives, etc into them. We could just do that ourselves and not have to pay for them to do it.
