Put content for warnings

Hello,

Recently I have gotten some warning points from a certain staff member

But when I looked at it, clicked view, it didn't show where I did these certain actions. It confused me as there could have been multiple areas that this could've happened at for all I care. I also think that some staff members, despite how pleasing they can be, could falsely give a user warning points for the heck of it since there is no link or quote or anything of that sort to show the user where and what they did wrong.

All I'm asking is that staff members... or "Moderation Staff", put the thread think -- or some sort of quote of the text, in the "content" box.

If you disagree please put why, or else your vote won't count.

maybe they should be a bit more detailed but not too detailed. maybe just give a thread or screenshot and one sentence?

But on reports for there is nothing in the "content" tab. Some warnings I got months ago and I don't know why.

If staff puts them now then no one will have any issues. Also, other users cannot see the private messages. I think it would be beneficial for people who are trying to recruit or deal with to see what they've done.

I believe the staff policies that have been added in January require the mod to PM you with a quote of the said message which broke the rule.

This shouldn't be an issue now.

I agree. If you can do it for bans, how much harder is it to copy the URL at the top of your page and then put

Yeah,

I think it would be beneficial for other users also to see what people do. It would really help lower scamming if the users who do scam get warnings of course, they could see how they speak and all that.

The section which you are being warned for is shown in the PM.

I am not talking about the section. I'm talking about the actual links to the threads where you were doing the act.

(Or a quote for that matter).

Staff Members are supposed to send you a warning PM, letting you know what post was breaking the rules.

Eh. I'm not exactly sure that this is necessary, since you can just search through your private messages to find the warning PM.

Currently, I got some that were from multiple months ago, I would prefer not to search through months of pm's. I'm sure it's the same for other users.

Also, how hard is it for staff to do it? They already do it in bans.

And: This could potentially put 'false' warnings out of business in-case a staff member decides to go rampage.

I find it hard to believe that any staff member will "go on a rampage". If you have a question about a warning, you can always ask the staff member for more information.

Nice suggestion though, it wouldn't hurt to add it.

Honestly, I don't know why it isn't implemented already. There's a section for it.
